In a rather-expected move, the Biden administration announced how much more funding Ukraine will be receiving from American taxpayer dollars.
On Thursday the Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, disclosed that the current administration will be granting an additional $10 billion to Ukraine for economic funding.
According to The Post Millennial, the U.S. has handed nearly $115 to $200 billion to Ukraine as military and economic funding.
During the announcement, Yellen stated:
“Providing economic assistance has made Ukraine’s resistance possible by supporting the home front, funding critical public services, and helping keep the government running. In the coming months, we expect to provide around $10 billion in additional economic support for Ukraine,”
She added:
“Putin himself thought he would achieve a victory at minimal cost… One year later, Putin’s war has been a strategic failure for the Kremlin. Ukraine still stands.”
The announcement regarding the funding comes after Biden’s recent visit to Ukraine where he promised more funding and support.
During his visit, Biden stated that he would support Ukraine and President Zelensky “as long as it takes.”
Previously President Biden said that the U.S. would not supply Abrams tanks to Ukraine as it could provoke World War 3.
However, contradicting his previous claim, Biden has decided to supply the tanks to Ukraine to help them fight Russia.
The Biden administration’s latest announcement regarding additional funding shows that the administration has no respect for Americans and their tax money.
