The Democratic Party’s top attorneys released an article advocating for “ballot harvesting,” in which third-party operatives gather ballots and transport them to polling stations, as a strategy to secure Democratic electoral triumph.
Marc Elias’ piece, which was uploaded on a website frequented by voting advocates, stated that legalizing the illegal practice, which thankfully is now illegal in most states, is one of the “four foundations” to Democratic triumph. Not only did Elias support and advocate for the practice, but he also spearheaded litigation against states that prohibited ballot harvesting, according to a recent article that was written by Just the News on Monday.
Elias and Democrats sued to have ballot harvesting prohibitions overturned in two pivotal states — Arizona and Georgia — but both challenges were deemed unsuccessful, with the rules upheld in decisions that reached up to the United States Supreme Court.
Elias is really no newcomer to Democratic campaigning. In 2016, Elias, as a lawyer for the Perkins Coie firm working on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, recruited Fusion GPS, which then in turn recruited former British spy Christopher Steele, who created the infamous and discredited “Russia dossier” on then-GOP presidential contender Donald Trump according to the conservative brief.
