It’s been reported that multiple news outlets have sued to see the warrant the FBI used to search Trump’s home.
Judicial Watch reported:
Judicial Watch announced today that it has filed a motion asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to unseal as soon as possible the search warrant materials used by the FBI to raid President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida (U.S. v. Sealed Search Warrant (Case No. 9:22-mj-08332)).
In its motion, Judicial Watch states:
Judicial Watch is investigating the potential politicization of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Justice and whether the FBI and the Justice Department are abusing their law enforcement powers to harass a likely future political opponent of President Biden.
The public has an urgent and substantial interest in understanding the predicate for the execution of the unprecedented search warrant of the private residence of a former president and likely future political opponent….
[N]o official explanation or information has been released about the search. As of the filing of this motion, the public record consists solely of speculation and innuendo.
Whenever Donald Trump is in the headlines, cable news rating skyrocket.
Even MSNBC saw some of its highest-rated primetime views since February of 2021 after the FBI raided Donald Trump’s home.
The FBI raided his Mar-A-Lago home on Monday.
They were allegedly looming for boxes of classified documents in a storage room at his home.
They reportedly took 15 boxes from his home after being there for approximately 9 hours.
President Trump shared a campaign-style video after the raid.
“We are a nation in decline,” Trump narrated at the beginning of the video.
“We are a failing nation … We are a nation that in many ways has become a joke. But soon we will have greatness again,” he says.
“We are a nation that has the highest inflation in over 40 years, where the stock market just finished the worst first half of a year in more than five decades,” he says in reference to the many failings of Joe Biden.
He then takes a hopeful turn.
“It’s hard-working patriots like you who built our country — and it’s hard-working patriots like you who are going to save our country.”
“There is no mountain we cannot climb; there is no summit we cannot reach; there is no challenge we cannot beat; there is no victory we cannot have.”
“We will not bend, we will not break, we will not yield ever, ever, ever. We will never give in, we will never give up, and we will never, ever back down.”
“We will never let you down. As long as we are confident and united, the tyrants we are fighting do not stand even a little chance.”
The video ends with the message, “…the best is yet to come.”
Trump has not announced for certain that he will run, but if he does, news ratings will surely go through the roof.
