Alejandro Mayorkas has been breaking records since he handled the Department of Homeland Security.
One most recent example is being the first secretary to be impeached by the House since 1876 when Secretary of War William Belknap was ousted despite resigning earlier.
According to House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), “Secretary Mayorkas’s willful refusal to enforce federal law created an unprecedented crisis at our southern border and left innocent Americans to pay the price.
“Because Mayorkas failed to do the honorable thing by resigning, House Republicans fulfilled our Constitutional duty by voting to impeach.”
With the return of Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), the House moved to vote on the matter again. Scalise, who missed last week’s vote, has been in Louisiana to receive treatments for his cancer.
RINOs Reps. Ken Buck (R-CO), Tom McClintock (R-CA), and Mike Gallagher (R-WI) once again voted with the Democrats against impeaching Mayorkas. These lawmakers ultimately ignored thousands of voicemails from their constituents urging them to flip their votes.
Following this embarrassing move, Gallagher announced he would not seek reelection for his role.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co) wrote on X on Tuesday, “Mayorkas has released more than 6.2 million illegals into our communities, he has lied, he has violated 10 laws passed by Congress, and he has disregarded his oath to the Constitution.”
Boebert continued, “Time to hold this crook accountable for the American people!”
The House officially booted out Mayorkas in a 214 to 213 vote, disappointing the Democrats and GOP members sided with the liberals.
The people want Mayorkas out of the DHS and demand that Congress take action for violating immigration laws and lying under oath.
Meanwhile, Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) who recently exposed a secret facility where undocumented migrants were housed said, “Very clearly, Mayorkas has lied to Congress and the American people, and he has failed to uphold his duty to the Constitution, which is to carry out the laws of the United States of America. He’s not doing that, and so I think there’s at least two things that are impeachable offenses.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA), one of the lead lawmakers who persistently called to impeach the DHS secretary recognized this victory. According to the two articles of impeachment the GOP released, Mayorkas intentionally violated existing laws and lied to Congress.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer already expressed that Mayorkas’ impeachment is doomed in the Senate.
Social media applaud Mayorkas’ impeachment
Despite threats from the Senate, the people gave props to GOP lawmakers for their efforts to indict Mayorkas for his crimes.
The Raging Patriot co-founder, Nicholas Pagnotta, said: “He should be impeached and indicted for allowing the invasion at the border.”
Another X user wrote, “Not only should DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas be impeached, but he should be referred for prosecution for perjury.”
Meanwhile, Gen. Mike Flynn called for the people to vote those three RINOS out of office.
“These three RINOs must be voted out of office. Mike Gallagher Ken Buck Tom McClintock”
