Woke ideology has reached far and wide. It has corrupted not only the integrity of our nation but the global community. DEI morons even went and destroyed a prestigious sporting event, worse, ruined the hard work of many athletes to accommodate the DEI agenda.
This DEI-bullsh*t was evident during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics last Friday, where gay participants performed a parody of The Last Supper.
Major League Baseball legend Roy Oswalt hit the event organizers and wrote on X, “Going out on a limb here, but I’m guessing this will be the least watched Olympics in decades with that insulting opening!”
The so-called trans performers even brought a child to their hideous activity.
Oswalt had played for the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies in his 13-year career in the professional baseball league.
Segments of the opening ceremony were also stomach-churning for some social media users. One act presented a woman and two women, who were as if performing a threesome.
There was also a depiction of Marie Antoinette and drag queens rendering their version of the torch relay.
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker was also appalled by the performance and described it as ‘crazy’ in one of his IG stories. He also included a Bible quote, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked.”
According to the artistic director of the opening ceremony, Thomas Jolly, his motivation was to present how the world viewed France.
“The extraordinary thing is that everyone in France and the rest of the world has an idea of what France is all about. And I want to play with that, that’s where I want to start from – breaking down clichés because clichés come along other things,” he said, according to the Olympics website.
However, this sad excuse and the blatant disregard for cultural sensitivities, especially in the Olympics, where various nations had gathered, is unacceptable.
In a July 27 statement, Catholic leaders in France blasted the ceremony, “The values and the principles expressed and disseminated by sport and Olympism contribute to this need for unity and fraternity that our world needs so much, respecting the convictions of all, around the sport that brings us together and to promote peace among nations and hearts.”
The French bishops added that the opening ceremony had “offered the whole world wonderful moments of beauty and joy, rich in emotions and universally acclaimed.”
However, they noted that it also “unfortunately included scenes of derision and mockery of Christianity, which we deeply deplore.”
