More than 80% of Swing State Voters Want Trump; Biden Deemed “Too Old” for the Job

Voters of seven key swing states favor Trump over Biden, with 80 percent thinking that the 81-year-old leader is “too old” for the job, according to a recent survey by Bloomberg News/Morning Consult.

The battleground states were Arizona, where 49 percent of respondents wanted the former president; Georgia, with Biden trailing Trump at 49 percent to 43 percent; Michigan, with 46 percent for Trump; Nevada, where Trump leads by 6 percent; North Carolina, with Biden down by 9 percent; Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The Republican presumptive nominee for president even trumped Biden in a five-way ballot test where Trump got 43 percent of support while Biden only had 37 percent.

Moreover, the majority of Black, young, and women respondents think Biden is too old.

Immigration policy was also among the top issues for voters, according to the Morning Consult poll.

Additionally, 82 percent of the voters remarked that the economy is still the number one issue in the upcoming elections, while 35 percent noted that this would be their top consideration when voting in November.

The survey also found that more voters, 43 percent, describe Trump as mentally fit than Biden.

Additionally, 45 percent of the respondents say the 45th president was “in good health.”

Meanwhile, a similar survey was held in Maine by Pan Atlantic Research, where it found Trump outvoting Biden in a head-to-head matchup.

At least 38 percent of the respondents said they would vote for Trump, while only 32 percent wanted Biden.

The recent polling reflects a significant number of respondents who have switched their votes to support the incumbent president.

Biden won in Maine during the 2020 elections.

The pollster interviewed 791 likely voters from February 6-14.

Since the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, questions on his mental acuity intensified.

Furthermore, critics hounded the White House for cognitive tests to prove that Biden is competent enough to lead America.

According to the Harvard CAPS-Harris poll, more than 76 percent of voters demand full disclosure of Hur’s report on Biden.

The survey also found that 69 percent of the 2,022 respondents felt Hur’s report raised valid concerns about Biden’s age that should be publicly debated.

The White House consistently turns down demands for Biden to undergo a baseline cognitive example, arguing that the president passes the test every day just by accomplishing the complexities of his job.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “I think folks need to understand that the president passes, again, a cognitive test every day.”
