Musk Stirs Away From Biden

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has recently been critical of the Democrats, expressed his views on President Joe Biden, whom he voted for in the 2020 elections.

In an interview with Don Lemon on X, the billionaire emphasized that “he is leaning away” from Mr. Biden.

Despite that, he was always noncommittal about supporting either of the two leading presidential candidates in the 2024 elections.

Lemon asked Musk rabouthis meeting with Trump and if he was “leaning towards anyone.”

Musk said, “No.”

“I’m leaning away from Biden.”

He also confirmed with the host that he met Trump last week while he was having “breakfast at a friend’s place” in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Donald Trump came by,” says Musk.

He added, “Let’s just say he did most of the talking.”

And once again, he emphasized that he does not intend to donate to Trump’s campaign.

Musk already confronted this issue last week with a post on X, “Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President.”

The Tesla CEO was Lemon’s first and last guest on his newly debuted show, which was abruptly canceled on X.

Musk surprised Lemon by revoking their partnership and removing his show on X.

The former CNN host wrote on X, “Elon Musk has canceled the partnership I had with X.”

“There were no restrictions on the interview that he willingly agreed to, and my questions were respectful and wide-ranging, covering everything from SpaceX to the presidential election. We had a good conversation. Clearly, he felt differently.”

Musk, however, had a different opinion.

The billionaire clapped back at Lemon: “His approach was basically just ‘CNN, but on social media,’ which doesn’t work, as evidenced by the fact that CNN is dying.”

And, instead of it being the real Don Lemon, it was really just Jeff Zucker talking through Don, which lacked authenticity. All this said, Lemon and Zucker are of course welcome to build their viewership on this platform along with everyone else.”

A source also commented that during the hour-and-a-half-long interview, Don seemed lost without his former boss’s direction.

“He was unpolished. He didn’t have producers in his ear. Jeff Zucker used to be in his ear, and he would repeat back everything he was told,” the source told The Post.

“Don was underwhelming, unprepared, and dull.”

“He didn’t ask Musk about (ex-girlfriend) Amber Heard. Elon probably would have liked it.”

X’s business account also snapped at Lemon, saying, “X is a platform that champions free speech, and we’re proud to provide an open environment for diverse voices and perspectives. The Don Lemon Show is welcome to publish its content on X without censorship, as we believe in providing a platform for creators to scale their work. However, like any enterprise, we reserve the right to make decisions about our business partnerships, and after careful consideration, X decided not to enter into a commercial partnership with the show.”
