On Tuesday President Trump doubled down on accusations for China that COVID19 originated in Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“I think that it escaped from the lab through incompetence,” President Trump told Australian Sky News. “Some of the intelligence is classified and I can’t talk about it,” he added when asked if U.S. officials are communicating with Chinese insiders from the lab
When former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe was asked about the same, he said, there is “compelling intelligence” but it can’t be declassified because it could endanger the source.
When asked, Mike Pompeo said “there were 14 American diplomats on the ground in Wuhan at this time who were watching and observing …. I hope one day we will be able to get that information out more broadly.”
He added that The World Health Organization failed to prevent this global pandemic because it’s bought by China.
When the Sky News host asked President Trump for evidence, he said,
“I started hearing stories … that there were lots of body bags outside of the lab,” he said. “I heard that a long time ago, and if they did in fact have body bags that was one little indication, wasn’t it?”
In October 2019, the Wuhan lab reportedly experienced a cellphone signal blackout for about two weeks. Just a month before that, a database containing 22,000 coronavirus samples were taken offline according to Sky News.
There was supposed to be a WHO “investigation” into the Wuhan lab, but Peter Daszak, the only American on that committee was associated with EcoHealth Alliance and according to several emails, Fauci and his associates have covered up this “independent investigation” to protect the funding that National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) made for the Wuhan lab for a gain of function research
Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul had previously notably grilled Fauci on this and Dr.Fauci continues to deny all allegations despite the ample evidence that is out there
