New report shows Fauci FOUGHT Trump’s order cancelling research grant to Wuhan lab—media COVERED for him

During the former administration, Dr. Fauci resisted President Trump’s orders for the cancellation of research grants to a non-profit linked to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).

The nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance was not allowed to spend the rest of its annual grant, which had a remaining balance of $369,819. Former President Trump made the order in April of 2020 after reports the coronavirus leaked from the lab emerged. According to an excerpt from a book detailing the Trump administration’s COVID-19 response, Dr. Fauci “reluctantly agreed” to follow the White House’s order. The book, “Nightmare Scenario: Inside the Trump Administration’s Response to the Pandemic That Changed History,” is written by Washington Post reporters Yasmeen Abutaleb and Damian Paletta.

An investigation into the WIV and its research on COVID-19 began over a year after speculation around the origin of the virus. The Biden administration has ordered a 90-day investigation into the matter. FBA previously reported, “Judicial Watch recently obtained government records showing the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) gave $826k to the Wuhan Lab of Virology (WIV) for bat coronavirus research.”

Dr. Fauci’s connection and awareness of the lab’s operations and experiments have come into question upon his defense of the institution. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said, “[The fact] that it has taken a year and a federal lawsuit to get this first disclosure on COVID and Wuhan is evidence of cover-up by Fauci’s agency.”
