The tyrant Newsom has done it again – stomping on the constitutional rights of Americans by signing yet another brutal bill. This time, the California governor, a notorious radical leftist, has signed into law making it illegal to create or share AI-generated political content ahead of elections and weeks afterward. The so-called “deepfake” ban, which the dictator Newsom enacted last Tuesday, is exposed as a thinly veiled attack on free speech and censor political dissent.

But irony struck back brilliantly when Newsom’s usurpation of power immediately backfired when none other than Elon Musk – the champion of free speech – clapped back and defied the new law with a simple post on X. Musk reposted the very AI-generated parody video of Commie Kamala that triggered Newsom in the first place and caused outrage among the free-speech-advocating public.
In a sarcastic post addressed to his 198 million X followers, Musk wrote: “The governor of California just made this parody video illegal in violation of the Constitution of the United States. Would be a shame if it went viral,” afterward daring Newsom to come after him.
And so viral went Commie Kamala’s parody video. The AI-generated clip, which pokes fun at Kamala as being a deep-state puppet and a border disaster, has now exceeded 40 million views, and Musk gaining applause from the public for his refusal to bow to government censorship.
The matter has gone beyond deep fakes and put the real issue on center stage. Newsom and his radical leftist allies are waging war on free speech – especially when the voices come from those who oppose their dictatorship. In an instant, the American public knows that by making it illegal to create or share AI-generated content before the elections and 60 days afterward, Newsom is directly violating the First Amendment. This political overstep by the tyrant Newsom only reflects how Democrats try to control and manipulate the narrative by silencing dissenters who dare to expose the leftist sham.
Newsom, in an attempt to defend his fascist law, claimed that it was necessary to “protect the integrity of the election.” But those in their right minds quickly see that this is a cover-up for suppressing political speech. In a condescending tone, Newsom reasoned with SalesforceCEO Marc Benioff that “it was just wrong on every level.” “Wrong” may not be the accurate description. Newsom may have meant “inconvenient” for public officials like himself, who can’t stand criticism for their failures.
However, Musk isn’t stepping back. He knows that Newsom’s law will face legal challenges and will likely be struck down. In his refusal to comply with Newsom’s abuse of power, Musk made it clear that “we must defend the freedom of expression against this encroachment.” In solidarity, even former Republican state senator Melissa Melendez called out Newsom, predicting that his illegal bill won’t last long.
Meanwhile, the blowback from ordinary Americans has been swift and harsh. Many are voicing out their frustration with how the radical left elites of California dictate what they can say and share on social media. Musk had said earlier that this latest law was “the final straw,” after Newsom’s other tyrannical laws drove businesses and independent thinkers out of the state. First, there was the pressure to implement harmful gender policies in schools, and now, this attempt to censor political satire. Newsom and his ilk from the radical left are repeatedly proving that their ultimate goal is to control families, businesses, and now free speech.
If there’s one thing that has to be made clear with this latest Democrat blunder, it’s the truth that their grip on power is slipping, and they know it. They have been hell-bent on censoring anyone whose views don’t align with them. They have failed in tech censorship, and in pushing woke ideologies that’s why they are resorting to extreme measures to silence critics, such as this latest attempt to illegalise satire.
In the face of this Democrat overreach, more and more Americans are standing up for their freedoms. They take inspiration from Musk and fellow citizens to not bow down to leftist authoritarianism. Newsom and his Democrat dictators may have thought that they could silence the American public. But as millions re-share and repost Commie Kamala’s parody video, the message is clear: the people’s voices will not be silenced.
