ABC’s “The View” continues to be in the news each week for the insane things they say.

Co-host Joy Behar is consistently in the news for her bad takes. But, this time, she’s in the news for pictures of her wearing blackface back in the day.

In a Time Magazine interview, she tried to deny her blackface scandal happened, but then came clean later in the interview and admitted that it was offensive.

She said, “You have a power when you have that microphone. People don’t like it. They don’t like it that I’m a powerful person on The View, saying things that they don’t like, but I’m sorry, that is where I’m at.

“I’m a powerful person on The View. I was a powerful person as a comedian holding a microphone. Too bad. This whole idea of canceling people for what they say, I’d say the answer to that is, What was your intention? Everything that I got into trouble for was not intentional.”

When asked about her blackface scandal, she had this to say:

“For me, it was like, Look at how pretty I can look as a woman dressed like this.”

“It wasn’t anything close to blackface. It was bronzer, which I used with my natural curly hair.”

“And the Black community had my back because they understand what blackface is.”

“And then all of a sudden, that picture became verboten.”

After her comments on the issue, “The View’s” publicist sent the reporter another comment from Behar.

“I would never do that now. I understand it’s offensive,” she said.

Joy and the other co-host are in hot water for their comments on Turning Point USA being linked to neo-Nazi protestors.

On Monday, Joy Behar and the other hosts discussed the recent TPUSA event in Tampa, Florida.

They said that TPUSA was complicit in letting the neo-Nazis protest there.

TPUSA sent a cease-and-desist letter to “The View” and said they were prepared to take legal action if ABC News didn’t retract the statements about Turning Point and apologize.

On Wednesday, co-host Sara Haines read a statement on the air to address the controversy. “We want to make clear that these demonstrators were gathered outside the event and that they were not invited or endorsed by Turning Point USA,” she said.

TPUSA’s Twitter account wrote about the on-air apology and noted that Goldberg didn’t take back her comments.

“Whoopi remained silent and has not retracted her comments that TPUSA ‘metaphorically’ embraced ‘Nazis,'” TPUSA tweeted.

Well-known conservative figures have criticized “The View” for their comments on Monday. Matt Gaetz tweeted about the incident and added the hashtag “#SueTheView.”

Goldberg was previously suspended from the show for her comments on the Holocaust.
