“No One Will Lay a Finger on Your Firearms,’ Trump Pledges to Revoke Biden’s Gun Restrictions

President Donald Trump pledged in front of National Rifle Association members to revoke all gun laws imposed by the Biden administration during their Presidential Forum last Friday.

Trump began his speech by calling on NRA members as “hard-working, God-fearing and patriots.”

He described how Joe Biden brought America into a “perilous” situation, and despite his warning against electing the liberal president, he said, “I didn’t know how bad it would be.”

The former president then highlighted the Second Amendment and said that Biden’s policies violated this, “Even as they turn America into a crime-ridden, gang-infested, terror-filled dumping ground, Joe Biden and his thugs will do everything in their power to confiscate your guns and annihilate your God-given right to self-defense…During my four years, nothing happened, and there was a great pressure on me, having to do with guns…we did nothing, we didn’t yield…”

“Every single Biden attack on gun owners and manufacturers will be terminated on my very first week back in office, perhaps my first day,” announced Trump.

He also vowed that “no one will lay a finger on your firearms,” if he was re-elected in November.

The former president particularly cited Biden’s “Zero Tolerance” policy that nulls federal licenses from firearms dealers who violated gun restrictions. He further promised to overturn rules on pistol braces, or stabilization devices, which were utilized in gun massacres.

The Republican leading primary nominee also raised that “If Joe Biden is re-elected, your gun rights will be gone, they’ll be totally gone. And the sad part about it is that the bad guys aren’t giving up their guns.”

The GOP leader then slammed Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Joe Biden, which refused to indict the 81-year-old president despite proof of mishandling classified documents.

“This is nothing more than selective persecution of Biden’s political opponent,” says Trump, but went on to say he doesn’t fault Biden “because I don’t think he knows he’s alive.”

Since 2015, NRA officials and Trump maintained a strong alliance.

During the event, Trump recalled how he made true of his commitments with the NRA and said: “Every pledge I made to you as a candidate in 2016, I fulfilled as your president.”

Trump also highlighted his actions in leaving the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. He also “cancelled” Barack Obama’s abuse of Social Security data which he used as a basis to approve or deny gun licenses.

“The right to self-defense does not end when you step outside the front door of your house,” he said during the event.
