The FBI is now warning that threats of civil war and a dirty bomb threat are being made against its D.C. headquarters after it raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida.

A recent statement from the FBI and Department of Homeland Security implies that there has been a rise in violence towards government officials, law enforcement, and judges since agents searched Mr. Trump’s residence.

On CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-PA) said his colleagues and Mr. Trump have to rein in their language, adding that everyone must take a step back.

“The FBI is not looking for a fight here,” Fitzpatrick said. “But when you have people making threats like this – whether it’s a dirty bomb or whether it’s talk of civil war – we have to take it seriously.”

The FBI has come under fire for its handling of the raid on Mar-a-Lago, with many critics claiming that the agency abused its power. The raid has also led to calls for the resignation of FBI Director Christopher Wray.

President Donald Trump insulted the Justice Department and the judge who authorized an FBI raid of his Florida home, shortly after saying that he’d been too angry about the situation.

On Monday morning, Trump complained that there was too much anger over the Mar-a-Lago raid, warning that “terrible things” would happen if this did not change.

He told Fox News Digital in an article published at 9:40 a.m. ET that people are so angry at the current situation and something needs to be done before terrible things happen.

Hours later, Trump lashed out at the Justice Department and Judge Roy B. Dalton Jr., who approved the warrant for the raid.

“The DOJ just raided my lawyer’s office,” Trump said in a statement. “What a disgrace! How can this happen in America?”

He added: “The attorney general is missing in action. The judge is a totally biased Obama appointee. The raid was totally motivated by politics.”

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was part of an investigation into whether Trump violated campaign finance laws. Investigators are looking into whether Trump illegally funneled money to his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to pay hush money to two women who say they had affairs with Trump.

The raid came just days after Trump said that he was “very angry” about the investigation into his campaign’s ties to Russia.

Trump’s attacks on the Justice Department and the judge who approved the raid are likely to escalate tensions between the president and the law enforcement agencies that are investigating him.
Rudy Giuliani has said that former President Donald Trump’s first reaction to the FBI’s search of his Florida property at Mar-a-Lago was to comment on the size of the crowd of his supporters that had gathered outside in the aftermath.

Giuliani, a former New York City mayor and onetime personal lawyer to the ex-president, told Newsmax during an interview that Trump said the raid was “going to help me.”

“You see the number of people in front of Mar-a-Lago already? This is going to turn around. The American people have common sense. They’ve gone too far now,” Giuliani recalled Trump telling him.

Trump’s supporters have often been praised for their loyalty, and it seems that even in the aftermath of the FBI raid, the former president was able to count on their continued backing.
