In a revealing battle cry of an interview with Breitbart News Sunday, Congressman Tom Emmer, the Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, told host Matt Boyle that the Republicans are in a phenomenal position to take back the House of Representatives and act as a bulwark for this “socialist lurch to the left” that is gaining depressing momentum in America.
Boyle pointed out that the Republicans are five seats away from the majority and Senate Republicans are one seat away from the majority, and asked Emmer to lay out the path Republicans are taking to regain the House.
Emmer thoughtfully added that Republicans “should find a candidate or candidates, they should share their treasure by supporting them financially, they should share their talents by offering to volunteer in a campaign, because look, the world is run by those who show up and those who show up and do the work, they own our freedom, and there’s never been a time like right now, Matt, to get involved and take a position.”
The NRCC Chairman cited the toxic ethic of the Democratic Party, which holds such intellectually suicidal luminaries as Rashida Tlaib, to assimilate to the radical Left. This includes the sponsorship of such poisonous policies as defunding the police which will serve as a chief reason that the Democrats will be ceding ground. Voters, especially in battleground states, will become less and less enchanted by the delusional Leftist utopia on offer by the Democrats and this will have the net effect of positioning the Republican party to storm the Democratic castle.
Emmer pointedly added that if and when the Republicans do take the house back in 2022, this will be the final nail on what will certainly be a blue-painted coffin for the current Speaker of the House, stating that they’re “gonna retire Nancy Pelosi once and for all. Time for her to leave.”
