The situation at the southern border is out of control, plain and simple.
The Biden administration took a 45-year low in illegal border crossings under the Trump administration and reversed every policy that worked in making the border more secure.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin covers the southern border and gives Americans a true picture of how the reckless Biden administration immigration policies are causing chaos at the border.
Melugin reports this morning that border patrol agents arrested a wanted terrorist last week crossing the border in California.

“BREAKING: Per multiple CBP sources, Border Patrol agents in San Diego sector arrested an Afghan national on the FBI’s terror watchlist after he crossed illegally w/ group of migrants near Otay Mesa, CA on Wednesday. I’m told FBI confirmed the match, & is leading investigation.
“CA Congressman @DarrellIssa represents the area and tells me his office has confirmed the arrest with their CBP contact. He released the following statement in response:
“Biden’s open borders aren’t just a gateway to five million illegals, record human and child trafficking, and the deadliest drug crisis in our history. Biden’s reckless policy is also an open invitation to even the most wanted terrorists in the world to come to America. They know they’ll never have to leave. The nation knows what’s going on and this president has only begun to be held accountable for what he has done.
“I can confirm that a wanted terrorist crossed our open border in the San Diego region just days ago — even if the Biden Administration won’t.”
Securing the southern border is more than enforcing U.S. immigration law, it’s also about the safety of U.S. citizens.
No other country allows people, who might be dangerous, to walk into their country, and receive benefits like a free cell phone, a free place to stay, a free education, and free healthcare…all on the backs of hardworking citizens.
San Diego Supervisor issued a statement on the arrest of the Afghani. It reads in part:
“On Wednesday, I received word from Border Patrol Officials that an Afghani on the terror watchlist was arrested at our Southern Border. This apprehension occurred after the individual crossed the border alongside a group of migrants near Otay Mesa, CA.
“This should serve as a stark reminder to President Biden and the Federal Government on the critical need for maintaining a strong border.
“The Federal Government should focus on developing a secure and efficient immigration system that prioritizes thorough screenings and background checks while providing a streamlined and fair process for those seeking lawful entry.
“The presence of an individual on the terror watch list crossing our borders is a stark reminder of the failures of the Federal Government that are now being put on San Diegans and Americans.”
Filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch made four films highlighting the border crisis and commented that without a doubt catching one person on the terror watchlist means nothing because, for every one caught, it’s likely that 99 got away.
The U.S. simply does not have the resources to care for the millions of people pouring into the country. What is the end game of this administration?
