RNC Files Legal Challenge on Mail-In Ballots Counted After Election Day

With the corrupt left already positioned its operatives to manipulate votes and mail-in ballots, the Republican party has to work extra hard to counter efforts of election rigging and assert integrity.

The Democratic Party has been bending laws to fit their whims while violating laws ratified by Congress, especially rules on elections.

One of the primary issues rallied by the Republican National Committee is the mail-in ballots, which are usually counted even after election day.

Many states permit counting of ballots that are postmarked on or before election day, even if they arrive after in-person voting concluded.

However, the RNC asserts that election boards and states must follow federal law, as they filed multiple complaints against ballots that arrive post-election day.

To justify their twisting of the law, Democrats argue that counting late mail-in ballots allows wiggle room in case there are issues with the Postal Service.

However, this blatant incompetence also allows wiggle room for fraud.

The RNC and other groups filed lawsuits in Nevada, Illinois, Mississippi, and North Dakota.

According to the RNC’s election integrity unit, communications director Claire Zunk, “the election should end on Election Day – that’s the law, and voters deserve fair and accurate results on November 5th.”

Furthermore, “Counting ballots that come in after Election Day in Mississippi and other states threatens election security and undermines transparency for voters.”

In their legal complaint in Nevada, the RNC states, “Congress has established a uniform, national day to elect members of Congress and to appoint presidential electors.”

“Nevada effectively extends Nevada’s federal election past the Election Day established by Congress.”

The RNC also highlights security issues with accepting late mail-in ballots.

Senior counsel with the RNC, Christina Bobb, slammed the misinterpretation and revising of the law and said, “The way to make the election the most secure is that everybody has the same finish line.”

“And if the finish line gets extended for one party over another, effectively by who’s controlling the election, that creates a threat.”

Meanwhile, in Mississippi, Judge Louis Guirola dismissed the RNC’s lawsuits, explaining that Congress did make allowances for some late ballots to be counted.

The RNC’s legal team appealed the case to the Fifth US Circuit Court of Appeals and slammed the ruling by Judge Guirola.

They quipped, “Rather than letting us fight this in court, a liberal judge unjustifiably dismissed our case.”

“Political parties must be allowed to fight invalid election laws that threaten the integrity of our elections,” the RNC pressed.
