Kentucky Republican Congressman Rep. Thomas Massie triggered the woke twitter on Saturday by tweeting a Christmas photo of his family holding guns in front of a Christmas tree with a caption “Merry Christmas! ps. Santa, please bring ammo.”
The liberal media industrial complex had an outrage-filled day after this photo went live. Many conservatives had a contrasting reaction and Rep. Massie gained an instant following of many conservatives overnight.
After tweeting that photo, the Kentucky Congressman posted a poll Monday asking “Which of these do liberals hate most?” With four options- Guns, Christmas, Family, Freedom
Adding fuel to the outrage that the liberal media industrial complex was still dealing with. Over 14,000 people voted in that poll with a majority choosing “Freedom”
A Twitter user asked the Representative why he didn’t include an “all of the above” option, the congressman replied with “That would be my Christmas picture.”
A special uninformed reaction came from a TikTok user that was reposted by the popular Twitter account @libsoftiktok
