Donald Trump is fuming mad and threatening to sue Fox News over an ad that the Lincoln Project ran on the network.
The ad, which features audio of Trump scolding a young girl for her weight, was too much for the former president.
“Fox News is at it again. They are running a disgusting new ad from the Lincoln Project featuring audio of me supposedly body-shaming a young girl,” Trump said in a statement.
“See you in court!” he added.
The ad features Trump telling a then-14-year-old girl at one of his pageants that she needed to lose weight.
“You’re looking kind of heavy,” Trump can be heard saying in the ad.
The ad then asks, “Is this really the President we want for our daughters?”
Trump has long had a fraught relationship with Fox News, often attacking the network and its hosts on Twitter.
But he has been particularly incensed in recent weeks as Fox News has aired ads for the Lincoln Project, which is made up of Never Trump Republicans.
Trump has called the group “traitors” and “losers.”
The Lincoln Project has been running ads on Fox News denouncing Trump and his policies.
And it seems that Trump has finally had enough.
“Fox News is allowing a disgusting new ad from the Lincoln Project to run on their network,” Trump said in his statement.
“The ad features audio of me supposedly body-shaming a young girl.”
Trump then went on to attack Paul Ryan, the former Speaker of the House and a founding member of the Lincoln Project.

“Paul Ryan is a washed up politician who lost horribly in his own Congressional District because he abandoned his principles and went along with the Democrats,” Trump said.
“The Lincoln Project is made up of losers and traitors, and they are all being exposed for what they are.”
“The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News.
“I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016.
“The Paul Ryun (sic) run Fox only has high standards for “Trump” ads, but not for anyone else.
“The Perverts should not be allowed to “false advertise,” and Fox News should not allow it to happen.
Trump concluded his statement by vowing to take legal action against Fox News.
“I will be bringing a major lawsuit against Fox News and Paul Ryan for defamation,” Trump said.
“This is just the beginning. They will pay dearly for what they have done.”
We’ll have to wait and see if Trump actually follows through on his threat to sue Fox News.
But one thing is for sure: he’s not happy with the network right now.
The Lincoln Project is a group of never-Trump Republican political consultants who duped Hollywood stars and others into giving them large sums of money to fight Trump in 2020.
Now, they’re attempting to run advertisements attacking Trump on Fox News in the local market where he resides, which is New Jersey this summer.
In a statement released today, Trump said:
“I am watching Fox very closely. They’re putting ads up in the Washington, D.C., market and also the New York City market, which is where I live, seeking to impeach me again.”
Although it remains unclear whether or not President Trump will sue, it is clear that he’s had enough with the network’s lies.
