Country music is an acquired taste, although the same can be said for Rap, pop, or even K-pop music. However, country music always seemed like a conservative stronghold in pop culture. That is until people like Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, or Neil Young turned the lakes into swamps.
John Rich, a country music singer, and songwriter went on Twitter like many famous people do, sharing his thoughts on the Mar-a-Lago raid.
“A BIG thank you to Joe’s FBI for raiding Trump’s home!” Rich tweeted. “You guys just poured 81 million gallons of premium Patriot octane on an already blazing Freedom fire! See, you are good for something after all:) Much appreciated! See you in November!”
Last year, John Rich also made a statement attacking the silent conservatives in the country music business.
“There are many conservative country music singers that just won’t say anything to push back against the ideologies that aim to erase what they care about. Why? You know why. I hope soon we see them start to speak up. The country music industry is out of touch with the audience.”
It is not just the country music industry but all of Hollywood. The majority of the elites in the media industry are out of touch with the audiences. Hence why movies like “Top Gun: Maverick” is still a big hit while woke Marvel and Buzz Lighter movies get torched at the box office.
Understandably, it is fear causing people to remain silent, while at the same time, it is frustrating to hear that same weak excuse. The middle class doesn’t have the luxury of million-dollar homes filled with servants and getting paid royalties from movies, songs, or books.

As far back as March 2021, Rich pointed out President Biden’s declining health, telling commentator Megyn Kelly, “In the beginning, it’s like, okay, peck at him, poke at him, whatever. It’s really not funny at this point.”
“You know, if that was my grandfather and the family is around, we would go ‘hey, grandad, it’s probably time for you to retire, and let’s get you somewhere where everything is better and good and a place you can really handle,'” he added.
“It makes you wonder if he can’t answer a question like they asked him, is there a crisis at the border and they run him out the door, can’t remember the Pentagon people,” he continued. “What’s going on in the backrooms when they’re making big-time decisions like should we strike Syria? Okay? I mean, what does that conversation sound like back there. Is he part of the conversation?”
Celebrities should stay out of politics, a phrase we on the right say daily. It is hard to remain in that philosophy when you hear a celebrity speaking out with conservative values, mainly because it is so rare.
John Rich also tweeted that the greatest generation wasn’t fueled by soy and wokeness. They were driven by patriotism and the willingness to die for America. When a celebrity speaks out and is proud of their American heritage, it is alright to be a hypocrite in these cases.
