Special Prosecutor Robert Hur to Take Stand on Biden Investigation in March

Special Counsel Robert Hur will testify in Congress regarding Biden’s mishandled classified documents.

According to Hur’s report, the president “willfully retained disclosed” classified materials but refused to indict him because he is “well-meaning” and “elderly.”

A source close to Hur said that the special counsel will appear before a public hearing on March 12 to discuss his findings on his investigation on Biden’s improper handling of classified records.”

Hur will take the stand for a hearing with the House Judiciary Committee.

In his report, he noted that the “does not establish Mr. Biden’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt,” highlighting Biden’s “significantly limited” memory.

Hur repeatedly stated in his report Biden’s declining mental acuity, “Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Members of the House Judiciary Committee expect to inquire Hur on his basis why he decided not to pursue Biden, many of the lawmakers highlighted the DOJ’s double standards on the issue.

The Judiciary, Ways and Means, and Oversight Committees also requested Attorney General Merrick Garland to provide the committees with a copy of any records or transcript regarding Hur’s interview with Biden.

House Republicans want to comprehend if Biden’s lawyers had narrowed the scope of the interview at all. These records will also reveal the concerns Hur cited on Biden’s memory, which the White House and Biden’s attorneys have criticized as gratuitous and against DOJ policy.

Hur reported that Biden forgot when he was Vice President and also couldn’t remember when his son Beau died.

The 81-year-old Democrat nominee for the presidential race lashed out at Hur during a press conference.

“There is even reference that I don’t remember when my son died. How in the hell dare he raise that?” Biden told the press.

“Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, it wasn’t any of their damn business.”

However, it was revealed that Hur never asked Biden when his son died.

According to two people familiar with the interview, it was Biden who introduced Beau Biden’s death.

An NBC report cited that “it was upon being asked about his time in Virginia that Biden could not accurately pinpoint the year Beau died.”
