Kari Lake, Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate, stood with President Trump onstage at a Save America rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
She encouraged everyone to “fight back” against the political establishment.
“President Trump taught us how to fight and I took a few notes,” she said. “He showed us how to do it…Republicans need to fight back!”
She added, “Now listen, we can’t sit back and wait for Superman to come in and rescue us right now…each and every one of us has to get involved; use your God-given gifts to get involved to save this country.”
Lake did however say, “I do believe that Superman’s coming back – and hopefully, he’s coming back soon.”
The crowd then erupted into cheers.
“And when he does,” she went on, “we’re gonna be right there by his side…”
The rally in Prescott Valley was packed, with supporters on the inside and outside. Trump was campaigning for Kari Lake, Senate candidate Blake Masters, attorney general candidate Abe Hamadan, and Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem.
Trump talked about Lake and how she is fit for the position of Governor of Arizona.
“Kari Lake is strong and she’s proud and she’s a tremendous defender of election integrity and she will not let anybody down,” Trump said. “She won’t allow elections to be rigged and stolen.”
The Arizona Republican primary will be held on August 2, 2022.
Lake’s competition includes Karrin Taylor Robson, Scott Neel, and Paola Tulliani-Zen.
Karrin Taylor Robson is the closet behind Kari Lake. A poll shows Lake with 40% of the vote and shows Robson with 35%.
Robson has been endorsed by current Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and former Vice President Mike Pence.
It is speculated that Donald Trump will run for president again in the 2024 election.
He hasn’t formally announced his plans to run, but whatever his decision is, he is resolute in it.
“Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore. In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision,” he said to New York magazine.
Rep. Elise Stefanik said she would support Trump running again.
“I support President Trump running in 2024,” she said.
Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks also said he supported another Trump run.
“If President Trump runs, he has my support,” said Banks, who added: “And he helps draw out Trump voters which helps us win in November in the midterm … He’s more popular than he’s ever been before.”
Steve Bannon is confident that President Trump will win again in 2024.
“Get them ready now. Right? We’re going to hit the beach with the landing teams and the beachhead teams and all that nomenclature they use when President Trump wins in 2024—or before,” he said.
Will Trump run again? We will see.
