Atlanta was the location of the infamous middle-of-the-night water pipe leak that caused the vote counting process on election night in 2020 to be placed on hold. Then videos of multiple suitcases full of ballots pulled out from underneath benches and counted surfaced.
Regardless of which side you fall on with the integrity of the 2020 Presidential election, there were major problems in the state of Georgia. The problems questioned the integrity of the election. Now, prosecutors are considering criminal charges against Trump for trying to influence the outcome
Since February 2021, the lead prosecutor for Georgia has been looking into whether Trump violated election laws when he asked Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to find almost 12,000 votes to reverse the results in favor of the former president in the 2020 election.
Willis has sought testimony from numerous witnesses with ties to Trump as part of her investigation, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham. Giuliani has been told he is a target of the investigation. He testified before the special grand jury in July.
“The allegations are very serious,” Willis, told The Washington Post on Tuesday. “If indicted and convicted, people are facing prison sentences.” She declined to say if President Trump would be included in those charges only saying the decision is pending.
She told the Post that decision will come in the Fall. It will come down just before the November mid-term elections. They will try to influence the outcome. Willis will be playing her part in the Democrat regime and trying to preserve its control over Congress and the nation.
Willis is a rising star in the Democrat party. That was until Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ripped into her for some poor decisions. Willis hosted a fundraiser for Lt. Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Bailey and donated to the campaign.
Conservativebrief.com reported, “I don’t know that it’s an actual conflict, but it’s a ‘what are you thinking’ moment,” Judge McBurney said at a hearing on Thursday. “If we’re trying to maintain confidence that this investigation is pursuing facts in a non-partisan sense. That strikes me as problematic”.
The image of Willis hosting and contributing to the campaign suggests her support is for one candidate over another. Legally, active office holders are not allowed to announce support for either candidate. It is considered an undue influence on her position.
Willis is a Democrat tool in the case against Trump. The District Attorney does not have to refrain from being political but her work does. However, during the investigation into actions regarding the 2020 election, her office is acting politically.
There has been no inquiry into the numerous alleged fraudulent activities in the county that benefitted Biden and the Democrats. They are only investigating whether or not Trump tried to influence the outcome of Georgia electors verifying the election.
VoterGA, an organization formed to protect election integrity, has indicated they have discovered numerous incidents of voter irregularities in the state. Specifically, the audit team found seven ballot audit tally sheets they say were fabricated to depict phony vote totals.
There are calls for Willis to be replaced as lead investigator. Judge McBurney is considering removing her despite her rising political image. She rose to prominence by prosecuting people in a non-partisan way during the Atlanta school cheating scandal several years ago.
The case rocked the nation. Educators were prosecuted for their role in altering standardized test scores throughout the city in 2009. Eleven of those teachers and school administrators were convicted in 2015. Now, Willis appears to be damaging her credibility by playing partisan politics.
