Charlamagne Tha God is a liberal radio personality. Charlamagne singled out President Biden and Senators Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., as “responsible” for the “destruction of the Democratic Party as we know it.” “People are wondering if the United States’ democratic process is coming to an end. Guess what, if that’s true, and I believe it is, these three are to blame for some of us.” “It’s as simple as that,” Charlamagne stated on Thursday’s episode of “The Breakfast Club” during his “Donkey of the Day” segment according to Fox News.

Charlamagne challenged Republican-led voting reform legislation that has been approved in states around the US, claiming that it will “make it difficult for Americans to vote,” particularly Black Americans. “Please keep in mind that this is an old song, ladies and gentlemen. The Republican Party’s voter suppression campaign against African-Americans has cost a lot of lives… President Biden was well aware of this before to his arrival. And, in the context of our country’s failed coup on January 6, he should have prioritized voting rights.” Charlamagne was right.

Former President Trump, according to the radio host, has regularly chastised Republican senators, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., for failing to support his 2020 election claims. “What compelled Trump to act in this manner? Because those people thwarted his intentions and prevented him from attaining his goals. That is precisely what you should do if members of your own party are impeding your progress.” Charlamagne was right. “We are all aware that Trump is acting in his own self-interest. So you can accuse members of your own party of selfish motives and no one cares. So, why can’t President Biden call out Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema for blocking his plan, especially when doing so directly harms the American people?”

On his radio broadcast, Charlamagne stated that he will vote in the forthcoming elections. Though he has not yet decided who he would vote for, he has asked people who plan to campaign for candidates to gather votes on his behalf. “What are you going to say to them?” Charlamagne was perplexed.
