Steve Bannon will fight like Hell even if it means jail time. Some say Bannon has a chance of winning his case.

Alan Dershowitz, a constitutional lawyer and law professor at Harvard Law School, told Newsmax that Bannon has an excellent chance to win his appeal.

Maga Conservatives reported:

Dershowitz said: “There was never a chance he could be acquitted for two reasons. First, in the District of Columbia, 80%-90% of the people hate Trump or anybody who worked with him. No. 2, the judge took away all of his defenses.

His defense was Bannon believed that he had an obligation not to speak to the committee because of executive privilege.

He may have been right, he may have been wrong, but the Congress should have gone to the court first and get an order from a court, and then he would have been properly prosecuted.

But to go immediately to prosecution is ‘Alice in Wonderland justice,” he said.

Dershowitz’s response comes after Steve Bannon’s appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show.

In a previous Raging Patriots article:

Bannon’s conviction spread like wildfire, as they typically do for conservatives. Steven Bannon then appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News.

Tucker said:

“You can’t kind of help but notice that you were convicted of a crime which is not actually a crime most of the time in Washington or ever.”

Tucker mentions that an attempted murderer of a candidate in New York was released with no bail. Both cases happened on the same day.

Bannon replies:

“Well, as you can tell, the Democrats are completely lawless. Look at how they run this committee. There’s no ranking member, and there’s no minority counsel. It’s not like traditional hearings that have galvanized the nation in the past.”

The interview with Tucker Carlson was overdue for mainstream media.

Bannon said:

“First off, if I go to jail, I go to jail. I will never back off a second like I spent eight years as a Naval officer. I’ve committed my life to this program to get this done. I will never back off. I support Trump and the constitution, and I’m not backing off one inch. If I go to jail, so be it.”

Bannon later adds that he will fight the conviction all the way.

Bannon said:

“This is not the only battle we’re fighting. They’re coming at us on every aspect. Look, they are trying to shut you down; they’re trying to throw off Fox anchors.”

Tucker mutters, “Oh, I know,” while Bannon continues:

“They’re coming for everybody. And people have to understand, right now this is an ideological war and we can not lose.”

While Bannon caters to Tucker and Fox News, it must be noted that conservatives also need to clean house when it comes to media, including Fox News.

While it may be a hard pill to swallow for some but remember Fox News owners wanted Biden to win.

Bannon rightfully said:

“We must have a sweeping victory in the House, and then Republicans have to have the stones to put on a real hearing.”

The audio feed between Tucker and Bannon is slow. A few seconds after Bannon said he would go to jail, Tucker’s eyes widened, meaning he was surprised to hear such a declaration.

Tucker’s body language is pretty easy to read because he constantly forces that “I am serious” expression. So it is safe to say Tucker’s wide-eye reaction was genuine. The same goes for when Tucker mutters, “I know,” regarding who the left is coming after.

When Bannon said, “Republicans have to have the stones,” watch Tucker closely. Instead of a wide-eyed reaction, we get a negative head shake and a tightened jawline. Why is that Tucker?

Did an executive say something to Tucker in his earpiece? Did he not like the phrasing? Or is it because Tucker isn’t really on our side as he claims? Your guess is as good as mine.
