Republican Representative from Ohio, Jim Jordan, is calling for an investigation of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. To find out her role in the events that occurred on January 6 at the Capitol.
Jordan told Tucker Carlson in 2021, “The fundamental question is why wasn’t there a proper security posture that day? It wasn’t like we didn’t know there was a rally in town. It wasn’t like we didn’t know it would be a big rally, after all, it was a President Trump rally.”
“Why wasn’t there a proper security presence? That is a question that only the speakers roof the United States House of Representatives can answer.”
“My guess is the reason she didn’t have the proper presence there is because–think about what happened last year. The Democrats normalized anarchy.”
“They said, oh if you are a rioter or a looter, you are attacking police that we are defunding and you are destroying small business we are going to raise money to bail you out of jail.”
“So, with that background, she couldn’t have the presence you need that day.”
Pelosi has mentioned that she nor Senator Mitch McConnell were in charge of security on January 6.
Pelosi spokesperson Drew Hammill wrote on Twitter, “I will say again the Speaker of the House is not in charge of the security of the U.S. Capitol Complex any more than former Senate Majority Leader McConnell was on 1/6.”
Security in the Capitol is run by the US Capitol Police Board. This board consists of the House Sergeant at Arms, the Senate Sergeant at Arms, the Architect of the Capitola, and the head of the US Capitol Police.
Tucker Carlson added in his interview with Jordan, “Immediately after January 6th, Pelosi called the army in, built a wall–ironically– around building for the Capitol police, her own Praetorian guard, et cetera. So she is clearly for law enforcement when they protect her.”
Pelosi rejected Jordan from being on the special committee for the January 6 hearings.
“This is all political and we have known this from the start,” Jordan added.
Kevin McCarthy slammed Pelosi saying, “Why are you allowing a lame duck speaker to destroy this institution? This is the people’s house. Not Pelosi’s house.”
Representative Rodney Davis of Illinois said in a statement earlier this year, “The Sergeant at Arms, at the direction of the speaker, has refused to provide us with their communications surrounding Jan. 6. I believe those records will show there was a lot of communication and coordination between the speaker’s office and law enforcement officials leading up to and on Jan. 6.”
The Hosue Select Committee is still conducting hearings on the events at the Capitol on January 6. They will conclude in September of 2022.
If Pelosi wants to have her partisan witch hunt committee led by sourpuss Liz Cheney daughter of war hawk Dick Cheney who profited from the Iraq war, then another committee must be organized to look into insider trader Nancy Pelosi to determine what role she played. This is not about Nancy doing whatever she wants. It’s about getting to the truth of what happened. And we will never find it unless Nancy testifies under oath. And even then she’ll lie as she did about never alerting her drunk spouse about what stocks to invest in after she was in charge of legislation promoting companies he invested in.
