TRENDING: Melania Trump Issues $1 Billion Legal Warning to Hunter Biden Over Defamatory Remarks

First Lady Melania Trump has issued a $1 billion legal notice to Hunter Biden, accusing him of making “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements” about her during a recent interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan. The notice demands an immediate retraction of the remarks and a formal apology, threatening legal action if Biden fails to comply by August 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. EST.

The controversy stems from an August 6 interview titled “Hunter Biden Returns”, which gained widespread attention for Biden’s profanity-laced comments and controversial claims. In the interview, Biden alleged that “Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania to Trump” and that “the connections are, like, so wide and deep.” These statements, which have been widely circulated across digital platforms, were described by Melania Trump’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, as “extremely salacious” and damaging to the First Lady’s reputation and finances.

In a letter obtained by Fox News, Brito—serving as litigation counsel for Melania Trump—condemned Biden’s claims as baseless and rooted in discredited sources. The letter specifically references an article by The Daily Beast, authored by Michael Wolff, titled “Melania Trump ‘very involved’ in Epstein Scandal: Author.” Brito noted that The Daily Beast retracted the article and issued an apology to Melania Trump just a week prior to the legal notice, following a cease-and-desist demand. Despite this, Biden “maliciously elected to republish” the false claims, according to Brito.

“These false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory statements are extremely salacious and have been widely disseminated throughout various digital mediums,” Brito wrote, emphasizing that the video has been republished by media outlets and commentators, reaching “tens of millions of people worldwide.” He argued that Biden’s remarks have caused “overwhelming financial and reputational harm” to the First Lady.

The legal notice further accuses Biden of acting with “actual malice” by relying on Wolff’s debunked claims and exploiting the Trump name for personal gain. “Given your vast history of trading on the names of others—including your surname—for your personal benefit, it is obvious that you published these false and defamatory statements about Mrs. Trump to draw attention to yourself,” the letter stated.

Brito demanded that Biden “immediately issue a full and fair retraction” of the video and any related statements, as well as a formal apology, in a manner as prominent as the original publication. Failure to comply, the notice warned, would leave Melania Trump with “no alternative but to enforce her legal and equitable rights,” including a potential lawsuit seeking over $1 billion in damages.

The legal notice highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding high-profile political figures and the rapid spread of controversial claims in the digital age. As the deadline approaches, all eyes are on Hunter Biden’s response to the First Lady’s demands.
