The criminal trial in the hoax crime case of Jussie Smollett is set to being on Monday. After three years of the January 2019 incident which Smollett claimed to be an attack by “racist Trump supporters” in Chicago.
This incident created a massive liberal outcry and many, including Democrat officials, immediately jumped to conclusions and started calling names to all Trump supporters.
Soon thereafter, it was discovered that the men who attacked Smollett were paid by Smollett himself and the whole incident was staged.
Smollett is now facing six felony counts for disorderly conduct and for making false statements to the police. The charges could bring up to four years in prison if convicted.
The two men who “attacked” Smollett were brothers, Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundario, and claimed that the actor paid them $3,500 to attack him on the street and put a noose around his neck.
