Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media and Technology Group, claimed on Friday that his company is prepared for a “war of all wars” with the present huge tech social media corporations. In an interview with Breitbart News, Nunes claimed that the first product TMTG will launch would be a social networking platform, with a late March launch date appearing to be the most likely for the time being. “Right now, we’re looking towards the end of the first quarter,” he said, adding, “We’ll come out when it’s ready.”
According to Nunes, a former Republican senator from California, there is a professional team of experts, all of whom share Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda, who are building up the infrastructure from the bottom up so that the site cannot be pulled down by any single giant tech company. He also denied media claims that Trump’s firm is a pariah, saying, “We have persons from all over the United States and all over the globe who want to come work with us.” “There are individuals who are sick and weary of Silicon Valley nonsense and left-wing nonsense,” he told Breitbart.
Concerning current platforms that appear to be more appealing to conservatives, Nunes indicated that the Trump platform will not attempt to replace Parler or GETTR, but rather to provide as an alternative to “woke corporations” like Twitter. “There’s plenty of room out there for a variety of platforms.” “But if you’re awake, using algorithms, and poisoning not just the United States, but the entire globe, because you have a market monopoly, that’s bad,” he continued.
Prospective clients were also warned by the CEO that no viewpoints, whether left, right, or center would be censored. “We will not filter people based on their political beliefs.” “Everyone will be able to say their bit, and they will be allowed to be in the town square,” he explained. According to Nunes, the new platform would be family-friendly as well as a location where individuals will feel comfortable using their true identities. “We’ll be a safe haven for everyone,” he promised. According to Nunes, there will be certain legal constraints because the platform must adhere to existing rules.
