In a bold move aimed at streamlining federal operations, President Trump announced on Tuesday that tech mogul Elon Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will head the newly established Department of Government Efficiency, affectionately dubbed “DOGE.”
“I am pleased to announce that the Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (“DOGE”). Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies – Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement,” President Trump stated.
Musk, known for his disruptive innovations, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, declaring, “This will send shockwaves through the system, and anyone involved in Government waste, which is a lot of people!”
President Trump elaborated on the ambitious goals of DOGE, likening its potential impact to that of historical initiatives. “It will become, potentially, ‘The Manhattan Project’ of our time. Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of ‘DOGE’ for a very long time. To drive this kind of drastic change, The Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of Government, and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before,” he said.

The President expressed confidence in Musk and Ramaswamy’s ability to effect meaningful change. “I look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the Federal Bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans. Importantly, we will drive out the massive waste and fraud which exists throughout our annual $6.5 Trillion Dollars of Government Spending. They will work together to liberate our Economy, and make the US Government accountable to ‘WE THE PEOPLE.’ Their work will conclude no later than July 4, 2026 – A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence. I am confident they will succeed!”
Musk has been a vocal supporter of Trump, particularly following the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July. He tweeted, “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” and later remarked, “Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt.”
Musk’s commitment to the Trump campaign was further solidified when he appeared on stage with the President at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in early October, stating, “As you can see, I’m not just MAGA. I’m dark MAGA.”

This is tremendously awesome. The federal government is so wasteful and the American people can’t get a break. Majority don’t have enough money to retire when they wan to. Increasing debts just to suport other nation and even nation that hate Americans. Example spend billions of talk money on Ukraine yet our borders in while ope. They won’t spend any money to close it. Hurricane victims can’t even get get because the money have been spent on illegals. Too sad.
You are so right! My wife and I were doing nicely on our fixed income! No where near rich, but a small amount of savings, so we bought the house we were in when our landlady died! It put us in a nervous place because we owned a house but our fixed income was right on the edge of what we could afford! Then Joey Biden and Harris removed the rightful occupant of The White House and created the worst inflation since Jimmy Carter! Then my wife passed away and the double loss of my wife of 44 years and her Social Security put a real burden on me!
I feel this burden on the American people was intentional! I think Obama was behind this tragedy and I’m so grateful that God is helping by insuring Obama did not get a fourth term to collapse what was left of our economy!
