President Donald Trump’s would-be assassin, Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old leftist who lived in North Carolina for nearly two decades before moving to Hawaii, was “a little cuckoo,” this was how his former neighbors described him, who also revealed that his unstable behavior was long-known in their community before his attempted assassination. “A lot of people were afraid of him,” said one neighbor who recalled seeing him with a stockpile of weapons.
The neighbor who wished to remain anonymous was in disbelief that Routh could attempt to kill Mr. Trump. “I just can’t believe it, the neighbor said. “If I didn’t see the picture myself, I wouldn’t believe it.”
The mentally unstable Democrat supporter with a history of criminal conduct was spotted by President Trump’s security detail just as he was about to put his rifle through a chain-link fence at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Routh set up his sniper’s nest near the fifth hole, armed with an AK-47 and a GoPro camera to document the cold-blooded attack. A Secret Service agent opened fire on Routh, forcing the suspect to flee. Palm Beach County deputies later apprehended him on Interstate 95.
Fortunately, President Trump was not harmed. His campaign immediately announced that he was “SAFE AND WELL.”
Mr. Trump may have survived another assassination attempt in just two months, but the radical leftist’s plot to kill the election frontrunner is beyond disturbing. It shocks the public that Routh had come so close to brazenly carrying out his mission.
Authorities say that he had a clear shot at the GOP leader– positioned between 300 and 500 yards from his target. This distance is well within the range of a scoped rifle. The failed assassination was a serious threat, said Sheriff Ric Bradshaw of Palm Beach County. “With a rifle and a scope, like, that is not a long distance,” he added.

But despite the gravity of the assassination attempt, leftist media outlets have barely covered the incident. If the situation was different, and a Conservative had attempted to take out a Democratic politician, the news would be on the front page for weeks.
Aggravating this is the fact that Routh, the Deranged Democrat, had been vocal about his radical leftist views over the internet and made at least 19 donations to Democratic candidates since 2019. There is no doubt that many other unhinged Democrats, like Routh, had become radicalized by the hostile language of the left.
Even so, Democrats continue to downplay acts of aggression from their side while quickly labeling patriots and Trump supporters as the real threat. This clear hypocrisy only proves that the real danger being faced by President Trump comes from the radicalized left.
While investigations are underway, many are demanding answers as to why the Secret Service reduced its security for President Trump, despite Routh’s attempt being the second try on his life since July. Many see this as the Deep State being complicit in leaving Mr. Trump vulnerable while the media ignores the threat altogether.
But to most Americans, it is certain that while Routh the Deranged Democrat has failed to silence Mr. Trump, the president remains undeterred, and his supporters are more charged up than ever.
