Trump Sweeps “Undecided” Voters in South Carolina Townhall

Not only did Donald Trump convince GOP voters during Laura Ingraham’s town hall at Evergreen, South Carolina, but the former president also swept undecided voters, according to their interview with Fox News that aired last Wednesday.

When Ingraham asked if Trump changed their mind, all five voters they were interviewing responded positively.

One voter remarked, “If I could summarize what he said in one word, it was just “strength.” He had a way about him that demanded attention. He really sounded like the kind of leader I would want to vote for.”

Despite his opponents calling his campaign as retribution against his rivals, the former president reiterated that “success” will be his “revenge.”

This line appealed to another voter as he said, “That right there is the line I’ve been wanting to hear from Donald Trump this whole election cycle.”

“Is he running again to get revenge, to pay back, who do we have to attack, the vendetta? No, it’s my policies, my platform, my results, that will be my revenge.”

Ingraham also asked Trump during the town hall if his sense of humor would be seen on his campaign trail.

However, Trump replied, “We have a country that’s dying.”

“We have a country that’s – it’s a failing nation. I say it in my speeches, it’s a failing nation. We have a nation in decline. We are a nation in decline. I just don’t think it’s a subject that we are smiling too much about.”

The voters were impressed by his statement.

One highlighted that Trump’s response to the fentanyl crisis and all the drugs smuggled over the border made a mark on him.

“I think he’d be great to strengthen the homeless and try to help solve that.”

Another voter was worried about Trump’s “tone” before the town hall, but the GOP leader seemed to convince him after the event.

“Today he was so likable,” he said.

“Guys, when he walks into a room, he owns the room. It’s obvious everybody liked him. I couldn’t help myself but cheer for him. I am standing in front of a president. And it’s very exciting for me … It’s hard to not like President Trump.”

According to a recent survey by Suffolk University and USA Today, Trump outshines Nikki Haley in South Carolina, which will hold their primaries on Saturday. At least 63 percent of the respondents answered they would vote for the former president.

Meanwhile Nicholas Pagnotta predicts “Donald Trump will get a little over 60% of the vote.”

“While Nikki will get high 30s, only because it’s an open primary and she will get Democrat votes.”
