Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan Defies Democratic Threats with Bold Challenge on Fox News

Washington, D.C. – December 2, 2025 — In a fiery appearance on Fox News, President Donald Trump’s newly appointed border czar, Tom Homan, dismissed threats of legal action from Democrats over his role in leading mass deportations, telling critics to “come get some.”

The former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made the defiant remark during an interview with host Jesse Watters on Monday, amid escalating tensions over the administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement policies. Homan, who held a similar position during Trump’s first term, addressed concerns about potential prosecutions once Democrats regain power. When asked by Watters whether he feared being targeted legally after the deportations conclude, Homan responded unequivocally: “Come get some.”

The comment quickly went viral on social media, with supporters praising his toughness and critics condemning it as inflammatory rhetoric.

During the interview, Homan emphasized the challenges of vetting migrants from unstable countries, noting that many do not have reliable criminal records or documentation. “We’re dealing with people from nations where records are incomplete or nonexistent,” he explained, underscoring the administration’s focus on prioritizing the deportation of individuals with criminal histories.

He vowed to pursue these targets even in sanctuary cities—jurisdictions that limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities—stating that public safety would not be dictated by local policies. The exchange highlights the deep partisan divide surrounding immigration during Trump’s second administration. Trump officials, including Homan, argue that the measures are essential to strengthening border security and reducing crime, pointing to recent reports of initial deportation flights already underway.

Homan has previously warned that anti-ICE rhetoric from Democrats could lead to increased violence against enforcement officers, predicting “more bloodshed” if the criticism continues.

Critics, however, have raised alarms about the potential for family separations, human rights violations, and economic disruptions caused by large-scale deportations. Advocacy groups and Democratic lawmakers argue that the policies disproportionately affect vulnerable communities and could violate due process. Some have suggested holding administration officials accountable through investigations or legal challenges—threats Homan confronted directly.

Homan’s comments echo past statements, such as his July 2025 speech at the Turning Point USA Summit, where he told anti-ICE protesters, “You want some? Come get some.”

As border czar, Homan is tasked with overseeing what the administration describes as the largest deportation operation in U.S. history, aimed at removing millions of undocumented immigrants. The interview comes as the Trump team ramps up enforcement efforts, with Homan recently criticizing Biden-era vetting processes following incidents such as a deadly attack on National Guard members.

Supporters on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) have amplified his message, calling it a “mic drop” moment, while opponents view it as emblematic of the administration’s confrontational approach to governance.

As deportations proceed, the debate is expected to intensify, with both sides entrenched on issues of national security, humanitarian concerns, and political accountability. The White House has not yet commented on Homan’s latest remarks, though they align closely with Trump’s campaign promises to secure the border and prioritize American safety.
