Democrat Congresswoman Katie Hill and her now estranged husband allegedly had a sexual relationship with a twenty-two-year-old staffer while in office. The relationship ended when reports surfaced of another relationship involving Hill and her finance director.
California Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell was having a sexual relationship with Christina “Fang” Fang. There are several disturbing facts about this relationship. Swalwell was married and Fang was an intern working with Swalwell. She turned out to be a Chinese spy.
President Clinton had numerous affairs throughout his time in office, the most famous being Monica Lewinsky which resulted in his impeachment. Al Franken was accused of sexual misconduct. John Conyers and issues along with the infamous Anthony Weiner and his sexting problem.
The point is, that Democrats seem to have a morality problem that goes much deeper than the Republican side. The latest Democrat politician with a sex scandal brewing is Matt Castelli who is running for Congress in New York’s 21st Congressional District.
Castelli allegedly has a reputation for partying, drinking on the clock, and having sex with his colleagues at work, according to a report from Breitbart. Emerging details cast Castelli as a fraternity boy working in the White House where he thought he could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
The reports indicate Castelli put ‘party before country’ with ‘wild and raunchy workplace behavior,’ according to a published report Friday in the Daily Mail. His behavior, which included sleeping with multiple women and married women, led to a drinking culture within his team.
“The source said there was a ‘very rampant alcohol culture within the team and Castelli was one to go out for beers and return to the office, sometimes staying so long he would collect overtime pay. ‘I feel kinda bad, but dude just liked to party,’ Breitbart reported.
Of course, Castelli denies any wrongdoing and uses his patriotic experience to add credibility to himself. Castelli was the director of the National Security Council’s counterterrorism division under President Barack Obama and stayed on for President Trump’s first year.
“I led teams leading down some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists, served in Afghanistan and Iraq,” Castelli said. He quickly throws out his patriotic past and his experience as an intelligent officer who served admirably around the globe.
His colleagues have circled the wagons for Castelli and come to his defense. The Castelli campaign announced that the chairs of the local Democratic committees in Warren, Saratoga, St. Lawrence, Lewis, Jefferson, Herkimer, Hamilton, Fulton, Franklin, Essex, and Clinton counties have all endorsed Mr. Castelli.
He claims the reports are a political hit job from his opponent Elise Stefanik and claims he serves herself and not the country. It appears his statements are self-serving ones. First, he brags about his terrorist hunting experience and says all these politicians in New York love him.
People who serve in these types of positions within the intelligence community do not brag about their work. It is one of the reasons they are in these positions. They perform the duty under complete anonymity and never seek credit for what they are doing and what they have done.
In addition to living a life as a number instead of a name, they exist in this world and can thrive because they are good at one thing, lying. Why would anyone believe a word out of Castelli’s mouth when he has made a career out of his ability to hide the truth?
The intelligence community needs to lie and conceal the truth for the betterment of society and the protection of people around the globe. Nobody is questioning that. However, the individuals who have lived in the shadows, have a hard time coming out of them in civilian life, and trust is an issue.
Democrats claim to be champions of the oppressed. They claim to be for women’s rights. When made to confront their hypocrisy they claim it’s just the Republicans playing political games. However, there is a long list of men in the Democrat party who enjoy taking advantage of the women who work for them.
