WHO Chief Predicts So-Called Disease X, Pushes for Pandemic Treaty

“It’s a matter of when not if,” warns World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus during his speech at the World Government Summit in the United Arab Emirates last week.

While refusing to go into details, the WHO chief has sounded the alarm and is now pushing countries to sign their so-called pandemic treaty.

The director remarked that they don’t know anything about it yet but hints that it could be caused by an “influenza virus” or a new pathogen, dubbing the next pandemic as “Disease X.”

However, the WHO chief had already mentioned earlier that COVID-19 was the “Disease X,” so the next pandemic could be “Disease Y” or a “Disease Z” (whatever works on their alphabet). Nonetheless, Ghebreyesus emphasized that the world should prepare even though we don’t know “about” it “yet.”

Ghebreyesus received backlash during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic for his apparent close ties with the Chinese Communist Party.

The WHO director floated the “Disease X” during the World Economic Forum summit in Davos, Switzerland.

This arm-twisting attempt by the health body has drawn criticism from several nation-states, who believe all these are a ploy by WHO to integrate everyone into their pandemic treaty.

Some countries call the pandemic treaty an “attack on freedom.” Many believe that this move, in essence, is a “power grab by WHO,” giving the authority to the World Health Organization the power to impose lockdowns, travel bans, and vaccine mandates.

Alliance Defending Freedom International, one of WHO’s fiercest critics, says that the pandemic treaty would technically cede power to global health organizations in the event of a pandemic.

According to the organization, “We underscore that the Pandemic Agreement must not undermine existing international legal obligations concerning the protection of the human right to freedom of expression, whose restrictions, including on the grounds of public health, must always be implemented with the utmost restraint and in the least restrictive manner possible.”

The Heritage Foundation called the pandemic accord “fatally flawed” and discouraged the US from supporting the treaty as it failed to address the lessons acquired from the Covid-19 pandemic.”

The foundation added that the forged draft by WHO does not provide “any mention of consequences if a party fails to alert the international community of an outbreak or share information in a timely manner, as was the case with China during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

And of course, in the name of readiness, these so-called experts are now working on a vaccine for a virus that doesn’t exist yet.

In a report by the BBC, the UK Health Security Agency is “scanning the horizon for threats and starting work on vaccines, just in case.”
