WHO’S NEXT? More Big Names Prepare For ‘The Boot’ From CNN As New Management Makes Major Move To Push Network To Be More Neutral

It has been known for a while that a great number of the legacy institutions are breaking down in the face of the woke brand of liberalism. These would include the educational institutions, academia, and perhaps most saliently, the media.

Of course, this has been a long time coming. We can all think of our favorite examples of media snobbishness and the refusal the accept the misinformation mill that they have become.

Now, finally, there seems to be some substantive blowback. This time it is coming after CNN.

It is now being reported that:

Don Lemon, Jim Acosta and some others may be next on the CNN chopping block as the network has begun to make cuts.

Jim Nicosia, the president of News Cycle Media and former managing editor of Mediaite, made the predictions on Twitter and he has a history of being correct on these matters more often than he is not.

“Source: Once the coming shakeup at @CNN is done, don’t expect John Berman, Alisyn Camerota, Jim Acosta, Brianna Keilar, Jake Tapper, John King, and Don Lemon to still be at the network OR have their current show assignments,” he said.

“They go on ‘The final ‘stay or go’ has not been finalized and more names will be added,’” his source said.

“Source: Stelter was a ‘go’ because ‘he was seen as working against current management’s goals. Leaking, stirring disatisfaction internally.’ One CNN source went on to say ‘He started believing he was the only thing between ‘democracy’ and anarchy,’” he said.

CNN host Brian Stelter is out of a job after months of speculation that he could be on the chopping block.

His last “Reliable Sources” show will air this Sunday, the network said, Fox News reported.

“CNN will end its ‘Reliable Sources’ program on Sunday, August 21st. As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company.

We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors,” a CNN spokesperson said to Fox News.

The host spoke to NPR about his departure from the network and said that he is grateful for the show and the way his team examined “the media, truth and the stories that shape our world.”

“It was a rare privilege to lead a weekly show focused on the press at a time when it has never been more consequential,” he said.

The host said he would have more to say on his show this Sunday.

“Stelter came to CNN from the New York Times as the nation’s top media reporter. He departs CNN an impeccable broadcaster,” CNN’s executive vice president for talent and content development, Amy Entelis, said.

“We are proud of what Brian and his team accomplished over the years, and we’re confident their impact and influence will long outlive the show.”

“Yo @brianstelter- my show is hiring,” Fox News host Greg Gutfeld said.

So, the media culling seems to continue. This culling occurs to the delight of many, including, admittedly, this writer. People are sick of being lied to.

In many cases, even if they happen to side with the ideological position of the institution. People do not like being lied to.

The misinformation mill seems to finally be crumbling in the face of its own dishonesty, in concert with the prevalence of the alternative media world of podcast, many of which regularly bring in higher numbers than CNN.

Hopefully, this culling will be a continuing effort and, if so, the Raging Patriot will happily and heartily bring you the story!
