Wisconsin Cities Reject Ballot Drop Boxes

Despite the Democrat echelons doing all their might to rig the elections and remove election safeguards, more and more people stand up for election integrity.

In Wisconsin, the liberal-led Wisconsin Supreme Court earlier flipped their prior decision to ban dropboxes in November and allowed it for the upcoming general election.

However, two Wisconsin cities in two Waukesha County municipalities defied the ruling and rejected the use of ballot drop boxes in November, asserting that they are no longer necessary.

Brookfield City Attorney Jenna Merten wrote in a memo, “We have concluded that while the city could utilize a drop box, we do not need to do so.”

“Unlike 2020 and 2021, Covid is no longer the threat to public health that it once was, and the City is not subject to any stay-at-home or mask orders.”

Merten added that services such as extended hours for in-person absentee voters and a drive-up ballot drop-off will still be implemented.

“With such provisions in place, we do not think a drop box is necessary at this time.”

Furthermore, the city attorney noted that their decision will also help city election workers save time and resources, especially since they will not have to be concerned about “keeping drop box chain-of-custody logs, maintaining camera surveillance, and having employees use additional security measures for the drop box.”

Brookfield Mayor Steve Ponto agreed with the city attorney and supported the Common Council’s decision.

Ponto added that voters across the state can opt to return to absentee ballots by mail.

“I’m confident that anyone who wants to and who is entitled to vote in Brookfield will have plenty of opportunity to get their ballot in,” Ponto said.

Meanwhile, New Berlin also voted against the drop box. Its mayor also agreed with the decision.

“I think the council made the right decision. I don’t think we need them (ballot boxes),” New Berlin Mayor Dave Ament quipped.

Ament added that despite ballot box removal, people still have options to cast their vote early if they can’t make it on Election Day.

As expected, Democrat critics opposed the cities’ decision. However, the Wisconsin Supreme Court said, “Our decision today does not force or require that any municipal clerks use drop boxes.”

“It merely acknowledges what has always meant: that clerks may lawfully utilize secure drop boxes in an exercise of their statutorily conferred discretion.”

In 2020, The Gateway Pundit exposed massive Fraud in Detroit, Michigan, where several individuals stuffed multiple ballots into its drop boxes.

If Michigan can rig the elections like that, what else could other states commit?
