The Trump campaign was accused of coordinating with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election vs. Hilary Clinton.
The leftist media goons fell over each other to push the Russia hoax.
People like former House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff claimed to have evidence pointing to Trump colluding with Russia.
People who believed the story called Trump an illegitimate president for his entire term.
The Durham investigation that began in 2019 to look into the origins of the FBI’s original investigation, known as “Crossfire Hurricane,” has issued its report and it doesn’t look good for the FBI or the DOJ.
“Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report,” the report said.
Durham said his investigation also revealed that “senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically-affiliated persons and entities.”
“This information in part triggered and sustained Crossfire Hurricane and contributed to the subsequent need for Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation,” the report said.
“In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump’s political opponents.”
“The Department did not adequately examine or question these materials and the motivations of those providing them, even when at about the same time the Director of the FBI and others learned of significant and potentially contrary intelligence,” the report said.
“Although recognizing that in hindsight much is clearer, much of this also seems to have been clear at the time,” Durham’s report said.
“We, therefore, believe it is important to examine past conduct to identify shortcomings and improve how the government carries out its most sensitive functions.”

The FBI was instrumental in perpetrating the Russia hoax. The bureau never had any plausible evidence or verified intelligence when it wrongfully launched a dilating and damaging investigation of Donald Trump. Nothing was ever vetted or corroborated. Indeed, the FBI knew it was a pernicious lie from the outset. That is the conclusion to be drawn from Special Counsel John Durham’s final report released to the public on Monday.
The FBI discovered almost immediately in the summer of 2016 that the claims of Trump-Russia collusion had been manufactured by Hillary Clinton and her confederates. The damning fiction constituted what is surely the dirtiest trick in American politics, and it triggered the greatest mass delusion in history.
Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida would agree. The congressman is demanding the defunding of the FBI and wants the agents involved in the defrauding of the nation to be criminally indicted.
Many conservative pundits, along with several Republican lawmakers, refer to the FBI as the enforcement wing of the Democrat party. It’s a shame what this once great agency has become.
The FBI issued a statement admitting errors in the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation and saying it has already put “corrective actions” in place.
