Joe Rogan, the world-renowned podcaster, held nothing back in calling out Kamala Harris on his show.
He blasted her for advocating for the release of Brittney Griner even though she jailed people for pot use when she was California’s, Attorney General.
Rogan made that comment during last Saturday’s edition of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, with guest Aaron Rogers of the Green Bay Packers.
During the show, Rogan aimed his attention at Harris who advocated for the release of Griner who was arrested for possession of marijuana products.
“That’s why the hypocrisy about the Brittney Griner situation was so egregious in this country,” Rogan said as the topic came up. “Where Kamala Harris is talking about how horrible it is that Brittney Griner is in jail.”
“Well, you put people in jail. You did. Thousands of people in jail for marijuana. Yeah, it’s crazy,” Rogan pointed out.
Rogan also called out President Joe Biden who promised to do something about the long prison sentences for pot but hasn’t.
“How come you guys didn’t exonerate people that were in jail for marijuana when you said you were going to?” Rogan asked. “They said that they were going to make marijuana federally legal.”
“They said they were going to exonerate prisoners who were in jail for non-violent drug offenses. This is what they said. None of that has happened,” he continued.
Rogan also caught a ton of heat for telling his audience to “vote Republican” because of the massive failures and hypocrisy of the current Administration and things put in place by Democrats.
“I hope there are lessons learned in this,” Rogan said. “Because this is a new thing. We had never had this before. No one who is alive today has ever experienced a true pandemic. And I’m hoping that, now that this is over, people are going to recognize that some serious errors were made and not repeat those. That’s the best you can get out of it.”
He urged people to vote Republican, specifically talking about Florida’s success under the policies of GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis.
A news release detailed what DeSantis did during the pandemic:
“Under the leadership of Governor DeSantis, Florida has continued to stay ahead of the federal government by following sound science – not coercion,” said Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo. “Today, we were able to bring doctors from around the world to discuss COVID-19 and the lack of data to support mandates. Scientific debate takes place in a public forum – it is not hidden in federal bureaucracy. We need to get back to living – not hiding in fear.”
“It was Governor DeSantis who led the nation prioritizing seniors, followed the data for businesses to remain open, and children to attend school in person, recognizing how little their risk was,” said Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez. “While the Biden Administration criticizes our response to COVID-19, Florida remains to be the envy of the nation.”
Florida flourished under DeSantis’ policies and did not suffer as much as many other states did under the leftist rule.
