After months of defiance and disrupting a House session, Hunter Biden finally agreed to a closed-door deposition with the House Oversight Committee on February 28.
This move, according to an article by Breitbart, could probably be an attempt to escape prosecution as House Representatives is set to vote to hold him in contempt of Congress.
Chairman James Comer of the House Oversight Committee and Chairman Jim Jordan of the Judiciary Committee announced this progress, as Biden’s lawyers requested the Congress to issue a new subpoena, arguing that the previous ones, were released before the impeachment inquiry. The probe began in November 2022.
Hunter Biden is a key witness to the House’s impeachment investigation. The Biden family’s business affairs have been under scrutiny after a series of evidence proving that Joe leveraged his position to gain financial advantages were exposed.
Unsurprisingly, the Justice Department recently confirmed that the laptop found at a Delaware repair store was indeed of Hunter Biden.
The bombshell revelation further said that the contents found on the laptop matched the records obtained from the first son’s Apple iCloud account.
The new filing comes as Hunter Biden’s gun case in Delaware moves forward.
These belies Biden’s claim of vindictive prosecution and further reveals more details regarding Biden’s laptop and its contents — including the President’s son’s embarrassing photographs, which had made waves online.
DOJ’s filing further said that the FBI found incriminating evidence in the laptop, one of which is that he is addicted to illegal substances while possessing a firearm.
Several weeks before the 2020 elections, the New York Post exposed the contents of the laptop and the Bidens’ influence peddling.
However, the media company faced backlash and was even banned by Twitter, now X, accusing them of stealing the materials.
The Biden family afterward continued to smear the New York Post and discredit the story, accusing that these were all just part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
Later on, former Twitter executives apologized for the ban while other media outlets discreetly admitted the authenticity of the laptop and its contents in 2022.
Up until today, the Biden clan continue to deny evidence of emails, texts, voice mails, money transfer receipts, bank records, images, White House visitor logs and sworn statements from Biden’s former and present business associates.
However, the President himself and everyone else knew the laptop and its contents were true but faced zero prosecution for their lies.
