The U.S. Senate held a confirmation hearing for Biden’s nominee for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday. Joe Biden nominated a far-left ACLU partisan, Dale Ho for this position. Ho has a history of sharing far-left radical views on social media.
“I very much regret the tone that I’ve taken on social media from time to time, particularly if it’s given anyone the impression that I wouldn’t be impartial,” Ho said in this hearing trying.
Republican Louisiana Senator John Kennedy was fortunately present in this hearing and confronted Ho on his far-left radical views and it was a very powerful moment.
“Did you say, quote, ‘Republicanism is anti-democratic virus’?” Sen. Kennedy asked Ho
“No, Senator, I don’t believe I’ve used those words,” Ho responded.
“Okay, you’re under oath now,” Kennedy replied.
“Yes, Senator, I – I don’t believe I’ve used those words,” Ho said. “I do remember saying last year that ‘there was a… loss of confidence in our elections that has spread kind of like a virus’,” he added.
“Right, well, that’s a long way from calling the Republican Party an ‘anti-democratic virus’,” Kennedy responded.
“Yes, it’s very different, and I don’t believe I used those words,” Ho said doubling down on his stance.
“Right, right. — If you did use those words, will you pull down your nomination?” Kennedy asked
“Senator, I don’t believe I’ve used those words,” Ho said a fourth time.
“But if you did, will you withdraw?” Kennedy refrained
“I can’t imagine a scenario in which I would use those words,” Ho responded.
Ho did an interview with The New York Times titled “An Indelible Stain’: How the G.O.P. Tried to Topple a Pillar of Democracy” and made the following remarks:
“There is an anti-democratic virus that has spread in mainstream Republicanism, among mainstream Republican elected officials. And that loss of faith in the machinery of democracy is a much bigger problem than any individual lawsuit.”
Will Ho now resign, and will he be held accountable for lying under oath? Only time will tell.

I am glad that Senator Kennedy was there to confront the nominee. Otherwise it would have gone un-noticed that he was lying. The senator saved the American people from another case of tyranny and the nominee should be held accountable for lying under oath like anyone else that lies under oath…
