As Budweiser’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, faces severe backlash over its marketing campaign with the controversial transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, the beer company has launched a new pro-American and patriotic advertisement.

The advertisement was released on Friday through social media.

It showcased one of the brand’s renowned Clydesdale horses, traveling from New York City to Arizona’s Grand Canyon, going through surrene scenes of the American heartland in between, with a narrator delivering a patriotic speech.

The narrator in the ad stated:

“This is a story bigger than beer. This is the story of the American spirit.”

During the ad, the famous Clydesdale horses travel through several historical American landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., the New York City skyline, farmlands and small towns.

The ad also featured two individuals with an American flag with one of them having her hand on her heart.

As the horse passes the Lincoln Memorial and the duo raising the flag, the narrator of the ad states:

“Brewed for those who found opportunity in challenge and hope in tomorrow,”

The pro-American ad releases amid the backlash Budweiser’s parent company is facing over the marketing campaign with Mulvaney.

Anheuser-Busch is experiencing a major financial hit after the calls to boycott Bud Light have been making rounds across the nation.

Last week, a bar owner in Missouri informed Fox Business that Bud Light’s sales had dropped by 30%.

On Friday, the CEO of Anheuser-Busch, Brendan Whitworth, addressed the issue through a statement, asserting that the beer company had no intention of dividing people.

Whitworth claimed:

“We have thousands of partners, millions of fans and a proud history supporting our communities, military, first responders, sports fans and hard-working Americans everywhere. We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.”
