There seems to be a trend with regards to the elite class. From Ted Kennedy’s car crash to Alec Baldwin’s “accidental” shooting on a movie set. Tragedy seems to strike ordinary people where ever the elite go.
Former anchor/correspondent at CNN Felicia Taylor was arrested after fleeing the scene of an accident.
Taylor is your typical socialite who lives in the New York and Palm Beach circuits. She is the daughter of Australian-born actor Rod Taylor, who played the role of the lawyer Mitch Brenner, in the infamous Alfred Hitchcock movie “The Birds.”
Most importantly, Taylor also worked for CNN. She has done numerous stories for CNN and interviewed many public figures, including Jeff Rosenblum, during her “Pills out, Popsicles in” story about Pfizer.
According to En-evolve, Taylor had more than one encounter with the law.
En-evolve reported:
“Taylor, who was also the co-host of Retirement Living TV’s “Daily Cafe” until 2009 and worked for WNBC-TV from 1998 to 2006, was previously arrested in 2015 for drunk driving.
She was busted with a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit after side-swiping another car in the Hamptons, police said.
Taylor was reportedly so drunk after the late-afternoon accident on Sept. 4 on Main Street in Sag Harbor that she was taken to Southampton Hospital “for medical evaluation,” according to police. She was charged with aggravated DWI.”
Recently, Taylor allegedly crashed into another car while driving in her white Mercedes, causing injury to the other driver, then was reported leaving the scene of the accident.

According to the incident report, Taylor, 57, struck the rear bumper of a black Ford, driven by a 24-year-old man, which was stopped in traffic ahead of her Mercedes.
“His vehicle was struck from behind by the white Mercedes. The impact caused [him] to strike the steering wheel, causing multiple complaints of injuries,” the report states.
However, following the impact, Taylor’s Mercedes was seen “fleeing the scene of the accident without rendering aid or stopping to provide information,” the report adds.
According to the report, Taylor’s car had heavy front-end damage, so this wasn’t a slight bump into the other vehicle. Police also stated that Taylor seemed confused about the situation and was questioned about being on any prescription drugs or having any alcohol. Taylor denied being impaired, and the police and EMTs confirmed she wasn’t under the influence.
The story shows that elites like Taylor think they have a special hall pass to do whatever they want. Nothing shows it better than the Anne Heche fiery car crash and Alec Baldwin’s out-of-touch response.
Granted, while it’s a blessing that Anne Heche survived, we must not forget people were living in the house she crashed into. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Alec Baldwin posted a video on Instagram stating:
“I love you Anne. I love you and I think you are such a talented person. I hope everything is ok. I hope you come through this. My heart goes out to you. I’m sorry you had this tragic thing happen to you, and I’m sending you all my love,” he added. “Everyone, join me please in sending their support and love to the wonderful Anne Heche. Thanks.”
Granted, we wish Anne recovers, but let’s not forget the lives she ruined. The elitism in Hollywood is strong. A house has been torn down. Memories and memorabilia have been burned away. A family’s home is blocked off by yellow tape, thanks to Anne’s recklessness.
Out of all people, Alec Baldwin is an expert in reckless actions.
