President Joe Biden has been the unwitting recipient of a good deal of push back lately. In fact it was just earlier this week that we reported that Texas Governor Greg Abbott overruled Biden’s open border policy, which he called an unmitigated disaster and immediately worked to secure the border.
Now, Texas is firing back at the President yet again, this fire was, metaphorically, shot some time ago, but it seems to be beginning to land.
It was back in April that we reported that Governor Abbot announced last week that he was directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to transport migrants released from federal custody in Texas to the nation’s capital and other locations outside his state.
Now, it is being reported that D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser overruled President Joe Biden and has requested the activation of the D.C. National Guard to help with the influx of migrants arriving by bus to the nation’s capital.
When speaking to the press, Mayor Bowser said, “So we are very focused and we continue to be very focused on having the federal government do its part to take the lead in addressing what we see as a growing humanitarian crisis with people who are seeking asylum coming across the country to get their final destinations.”
“We’ve had a number of discussions, we faciltitated FEMA’s involvement with a $1 million grant that has now been increased to work with our nonprofit agency, we facilitated using those grant funds to set up a center in a neighboring jurisdiction and I’ve also asked the Secretary of the Army to deploy the DC National Guard to help lead that effort.“
NBC went on to report that Bowser said 4,000 migrants have arrived so far in a “humanitarian crisis” that has reached a “tipping point.”

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott began chartering buses to send migrants to D.C. and other so-called “sanctuary cities” earlier this year.
Bowser requested the help of the National Guard in a letter to the office of the Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin dated July 19 and a second letter to White House aides dated July 22.
“The migrant crisis facing our city and our country through cruel political gamesmanship from the Governors of Texas and Arizona must be dealt with at the federal level,” the July 22 letter read.“
It certainly doesn’t seem to be Biden’s week. Not that any other week in the last two years have been especially kind to him. Of course, it’s a trap of his own making.
For this writer, the crowning achievement would have to be the Afghanistan debacle. This was when Taliban fighters took the Afghan capital city of Kabul faster than anyone anticipated earlier this month – including the Taliban – but according to a Washington Post report, the U.S. had an opportunity to hold the city only to willingly turn it over.
That is, plain and simply, on Biden.
Of course, one suspects that Florida Senator Rick Scott would disagree. He most likely would say that it was Biden’s “in competent and confused” handling of the economy.
He was quoted as saying “Joe Biden has destroyed America’s economy,” Scott goes on to say that “It’s time to be honest with the American people. Joe Biden is unfit for office and should resign.”
One can dream. One good thing about Biden is he certainly never seems to run out of actions that would be impeachable. Perhaps his time will come.

Biden Obama Harris should be held for treason against the American people they have destroyed this country
