Former President Donald Trump has been indicted a second time after a Florida grand jury voted to indict him yesterday. Trump is facing federal charges for mishandling classified documents.

The 45th president has been ordered to appear at a Miami federal court on Tuesday afternoon according to his post on his Truth Social account.

The indictment marks the first time in U.S. history that a former president has faced federal charges.

Elon Musk weighed in on the situation. The owner of Twitter took to his account writing, “There does seem to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics.”

He added, “Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust.”

Will lose public trust? That was lost when they started going after pro-lifers, parents at school board meetings, and anyone with an opinion that goes against the narrative.

Historian and political commentator, Victor Davis Hanson, shared his thoughts on the matter saying the indictment “is designed to destroy the person who’s leading in the polls [Trump] against Joe Biden. That’s what countries abroad do that are unstable and corrupt—the existing [Biden] administration uses the powers of government to indict his likely opponent in the next election.”

Are we about to lose our great country to corruption? Senator Josh Hawley seems to think that is a real danger we face.

The senator from Missouri appeared on Laura Ingraham’s Fox show last night to discuss the matter.

“If the President in power can just jail his political opponents, which is what Joe Biden is trying to do tonight, we don’t have a Republic anymore…nobody should be in doubt of what’s happening tonight. Joe Biden and his cronies are trying to take out their chief political opponent. This has never happened before in American history—we are in dangerous, dangerous waters, and it is because of Joe Biden,” Hawley said.

Lawyer and Fox News host, Mark Levin verified that this has Biden’s prints all over it. He had to sign off on the indictment.

“Is this some kind of a sick joke on the AMERICAN PEOPLE? Joe Biden says he never told them what to do—Joe Biden had to sign off on this becoming a National Archives case, to have it go to the Department of Justice! Who does he think he’s lying to, the AMERICAN PEOPLE? This is a guy that’s got documents from the time he was in the US Senate…in his garage!” Levin said in a video statement.

Not everyone agrees with Musk and others. Biden supporters mocked Musk’s take.

“Differential Treatment? Like when poor people get higher/worse sentences because they can’t afford representation?” one Twitter user asked.

“Could it be that they have evidence Trump committed crimes? It’s not a real endearing defense to cry out loud ‘what about’ my political adversaries?” another user wrote.

David Sacks, entrepreneur, Twitter adviser, and associate of Musk’s had a different take.

“Trump has been indicted for keeping documents in his basement. Makes sense. Everyone knows you’re supposed to keep them in your Corvette,” Mr. Sacks tweeted.

Sacks’ tweet refers to the classified documents that then-senator Joe Biden had and kept in his garage in his Delaware home.

But no one is above the law.
