The subject of conspiracy theories seems to be a topic that everyone, right and left, always seem eager to discuss. Some of the fringier and more unfortunate sects of the Conservatives will gleefully bloviate about Pizzagate or some QAnon nonsense. While a great majority of the left are loathed to hear anything that in any way contradicts the “official” story or narrative. Both are equal and opposite dangers, no question. Perhaps it will be best left up to the reader to decide which of these two positions are more toxic. Now, there seem to be the rumblings of another theory, perhaps conspiratorial in nature.

According to Former New York Commissioner Bernie Kerik warning, the Deep State’s next move is to assassinate Donald Trump if he chooses to run for President in 2024.
His warning came the day after Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago was raided by Biden’s FBI as part of an all-out assault on democracy.

Kerik made the comments in a response to a tweet from Richard Grenell, former acting Director of the United States National Intelligence, who blasted the FBI raid as “outrageous” and similar to the actions of “third world dictators.”
Paul Joseph Watson and his Summit News went to report that:
In an appearance on Newsmax, Kerik stated “I hear people talking, they said the Democrats want this guy so bad that they wouldn’t put assassination behind it.”
“I’m gonna tell you something. They’ve tried impeachment, they’ve tried another impeachment, they’ve tried one investigation after another. This is about one thing, this is about stopping him from running in 2024,” Kerik further noted.
“I’m not into conspiracies, I’m not into anti-government rhetoric. This is the first time in my lifetime that I would say I am deathly afraid for Donald Trump. I would not put assassination behind these people,” Kerik said.
The First Light report went on to categorize the reactions of a number of other Republicans:
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS); “The FBI just raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Is this equal application of the law? Or is this a political hit job? #HillaryClinton #WheresHunter”
Buck Sexton, radio host; “No special counsel for Hunter’s cocaine, hookers, tax evasion, and selling of his dad’s office to China. But FBI raids former president Trump’s home looking for random documents. Seems legit.”
Richard Grenell, former Acting Director of National Intelligence; “The FBI raids Trump’s house and the Democrats vote to add 87,000 new IRS agents to go after Americans. Wake up, America.”
Russ Vought, former Trump official; “By raiding Pres. Trump’s home today, the FBI offered clear & convincing evidence that it is weaponized against the American people and self-government. The FBI must be broken into a thousand pieces. Investigated, defunded, abolished, rent asunder. And the GOP must wake up & fight!”
So, it is certainly true that a number of “conspiracy theories” should be put to bed as quickly as they are thought up. This could include any number of junk theories linked to the Kennedy assassination, for instance. It might also include the aforementioned Pizzagate and QAnon, though I suspect a number of readers will disagree with me, if only slightly on this point. But, this one seems to be for real. It isn’t a man in a tin foil hat saying this, it’s a police commissioner. That does deserve special attention.
