The wagons are circling fast, and they seem to be circling around anything they can, It seems desperate political example of throwing an Italian meal at the wall simply to see what might or will stick.
It has been reported that Sean Hannity sent “dozens of text messages” to then-President Donald Trump, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
But according to the Breitbart, none of the texts are ‘seditious,’ promoted ‘insurrection,’ or otherwise were indicative of anything illegal or untoward:
For example, on December 31, 2020, you texted Mr. Meadows the following:
“We can’t lose the entire WH counsels office. I do NOT see January 6 happening the way he is being told. After the 6 th. [sic] He should announce will lead the nationwide effort to reform voting integrity. Go to Fl and watch Joe mess up daily. Stay engaged. When he speaks people will listen.”
Among many other things, this text suggests that you had knowledge of concerns by President Trump’s White House Counsel’s Office regarding the legality of the former President’s plans for January 6th. These facts are directly relevant to our inquiry.
It’s the word “legality” that seems to be the operative word here, and one wonder
Again, the committee appears to have less than nothing in terms of real evidence that any wrongdoing occurred. So members are trying to sweep up as many of the former president’s friends and associates as possible to muddy the waters and give off the impression that there was some massive ‘conspiracy’ to ‘disrupt Congress’ and ‘steal the election.’ We have heard a version of this lie since 2016 when the intelligence/media apparatus falsely claimed that Trump and his campaign were working with Vladimir Putin to “steal the election” from Hillary Clinton.
