Today is the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in New York City, Washington D.C., and the fallen Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Twenty-one years ago, pure evil was apparent to millions of people. As Americans, we have had the privilege of not enduring such tragedies in our backyards for generations. The attack on Pearl Harbor and the Jonestown cult murder-suicide were both tragic days in their own right, but there are many reasons why 9/11 stands out in our minds.

On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike. Despite what a particular Michael Bay movie might tell you, no low-flying planes passed over window ceils with freshly baked pies, and they didn’t shoot at hospitals. The Japanese focused their attention purely on the naval base.

Before September 11, 2001, the Jonestown massacre was the largest American civilian casualties. It is an event that will probably never get its own Hollywood movie since it was a cult hell-bent against capitalism and extremely supportive of socialism.

The Jonestown massacre took place in Guyana, September 11, happened on U.S. soil. Pearl Harbor was a military attack, September 11 was an attack on civilians. It happened in a time when 24/7 news was the “new normal,” and every camera was rolling live. Ground zero was a war zone on American soil, in an American city where all walks of life could see the festering scar that terrorists left behind.

Today Democrats want to compare this day to January 6. Former Vice President Joe Biden visited the Pentagon; while it has been a tradition for politicians not to speak at the World Trade Center memorial, unfortunately, it is not a practiced tradition at the Pentagon.

CBS news reported Biden’s remarks:

“Terror struck us on that brilliant blue morning. The air filled with smoke and then came the sirens and the stories, stories of those we lost, stories of incredible heroism from that terrible day. The American story itself changed that day,” he said. “But what we will not change, what we cannot change, never will, is the character of this nation that the terrorists thought they could wound.”

“Through all that has changed over the last 21 years, the enduring resolve of the American people to defend ourselves against those who seek us harm and deliver justice to those responsible to the attacks against our people has never once faltered,” he said.

Mr. Biden also spoke of the importance of American democracy, saying the American people have an obligation to defend and protect it. The president has sounded an alarm about what he believes are assaults on democracy by some within the Republican Party who refuse to acknowledge the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“The American democracy depends on the habits of the heart, on ‘we the people,'” he said. “It’s not enough to stand up for democracy once a year, or every now and then. It’s something we have to do every single day. So this is a day not only to remember, but a day of renewal and resolve for each and every American and our devotion to this country, to the principles it embodies, to our democracy.”

The statements made by Biden are good on their own, but the meaning behind his words is on another level. He has taken the solemn day of September 11 to reinvoke hatred and violence on the people who voted against him. Remember, he considers MAGA conservatives a more significant threat than Al-Queda. MAGA conservatives are on the same level as Al-Queda in the eyes of many Democrats.

Justice Roberts spoke at a conference in Colorado Springs, bringing attention to the Democrats’ hysterical response to the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Maga Conservatives reported:

He said: “People can say what they want, but simply because people disagree with an opinion is not a basis for questioning the legitimacy of the court.

“If the court doesn’t retain its legitimate function of interpreting the Constitution, I’m not sure who would take up that mantle. You don’t want the political branches telling you want the law is.

“And you don’t want public opinion to be the guide of what the appropriate decision is.”

Justice Roberts makes an important point, the political branches, Democrats and Republicans, should not have the power to tell us what laws mean. That’s what lead to the reign of terror in the French Revolution. Politicians labeled anyone who spoke against them as traitors and were accused of treason. All in the name of public safety, mind you.

By reading the Federalist Papers, we understand that our Founding Fathers express how Judicial powers could become the most corrupt and dangerous if used to create laws. That is why Justices must be impartial and unaffiliated with any political movements.

If the Democrats had their way, MAGA Republicans would be rounded up. MAGA Republicans are, after all, on the same level as terrorists who hijack planes, so it is all in the name of justice. Democrats are well-versed in creating riots; they would further invoke public opinion. To get neighbors to turn on neighbors, sons to turn on Fathers. Like all regimes before them, it will all be done in the name of public safety and democracy.
