In a spirited display of support for President Trump’s remarkable 2024 election win, former New York Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens took to social media to bid farewell to those on the left who threatened to leave the country should Trump reclaim the presidency.
Back in 2016, a number of liberal celebrities and self-proclaimed progressives vowed to relocate to Canada if Trump was elected. However, many of these individuals remain in the United States, despite their promises.
Here’s a few of the celebrities who said they’d leave but, unfortunately, are still here:
Among the notable figures who claimed they would depart is Michael Cohen, a convicted perjurer and key witness in the Trump ‘hush money’ case. Earlier this year, Cohen alleged that Trump was plotting to assassinate his political adversaries and subsequently stated he would leave the country.
Clemens expressed his sentiments in a post on X, stating, “Who ever said ‘I’m leaving America if Trump wins’ … don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.”

Following Trump’s victory announcement, Clemens further celebrated the momentous occasion, declaring it “massive for our great country” and commending figures like Elon Musk and JD Vance for their outstanding contributions. He tweeted, “This is massive for our great country! Incredible job @elonmusk and @JDVance but I’m most proud of the people. We did it! #RedWave2024.”

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, President Trump achieved a historic victory, becoming only the second president in U.S. history to win non-consecutive terms, following Grover Cleveland. His triumph was solidified with wins in Arizona and Nevada, bringing his total electoral votes to 312, alongside a commanding lead in the national popular vote. Notably, Trump reclaimed every swing state that was lost in the 2020 election, marking a significant comeback for the Republican Party.

I think that the Press should call out those Liberals who claimed to move out of the U.S., if Donald Trump got elected as POTUS. They should be given a legal document telling them they have a certain amount of time to leave the country AND their United States citizenship.
