During the weekend, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was seen in Moscow, with many speculating that he will be interviewing Russian president Vladimir Putin.
According to an article by Business Insider, “Carlson was spotted in Moscow in the audience at the world-famous Bolshoi Theater, according to Russian Telegram channel Mash.”
Carlson confirmed this and explained in a video statement released on Tuesday that he intends to inform Americans why Putin invaded Ukraine or “what his goals are now.”
“They’ve never heard his voice. That’s wrong.”
He further clarified, “We are not here because we love Vladimir Putin….We are not encouraging you to agree with what Putin may say in this interview, but we are urging you to watch it. You should know as much as you can.”
The journalist pundit further explained that he was interviewing Putin because: “It’s our job. We’re in journalism. Our duty is to inform people.”
Carlson is the first American to interview the Russian president since its conflict with Ukraine, which started almost two years ago.
Leaders of the European Union are now hyperventilating with the thought of Carlson offering other narratives on the Ukraine-Russia war and letting the people form their own opinions.
Enemies of free speech in the European Union are now proposing to impose sanctions against Carlson for his interview with the Kremlin, which is scheduled to air on Thursday.
Belgian Prime Minister and member of the European Parliament Guy Verhofstadt called out Carlson and recommended banning the journalist from entering EU nations because he’s “a mouthpiece of Putin and U.S. presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.
The Belgian Prime Minister even went on to tag Carlson as a “propagandist for the Russian regime.”
For allegedly enabling the Kremlin to spread “disinformation.”
Verhofstadt further accused the Russian president of war crimes.
“Putin is a war criminal and the EU sanctions all who assist him in that effort, it seems logical that the External Action Service examines his case as well.”
The European Parliament is now running like a headless chicken, as they rant, about how Carlson allegedly gives someone “accused of crimes of genocide” a “platform.”
Urmas Paet, a member of the European Parliament, even went on to question Carlson’s journalism.
“If Putin has something to say he needs to say it in front of the [International Criminal Court]. At the same time Carlson is not being a real journalist since he has clearly expressed his sympathy for the Russian regime and Putin and has constantly disparaged Ukraine, the victim of Russian aggression,” Paet alleged.
None of these globalists have seen the interview, yet most of them are already freaking out.
Carlson said it is his job to secure interviews with significant figures shaping world events if he can. He also says his team asked Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky for an interview but has not received a response yet.
The Raging Patriot’s Nicholas Pagnotta agreed with Carlson and said, “There’s nothing the media hates more than real journalism, that’s why they hate Tucker Carlson.”
