Former US Attorney Michael Moore suggested Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to step out of the case.
Moore on CNN expressed, “I think probably to preserve the case to show what’s most important to her is the facts of the Trump case as opposed to her political career if you will at this moment.”
Willis’ colleagues also weighed in on the case, with some expressing how Wade overcharged the state with his professional fees, which amounted to $654,000, and questioned the DA’s motive in hiring a less experienced lawyer in a “very important” case.
Fulton County criminal defense attorney Suri Chada Jimenez said, “He could have billed 12 hours at $500 and that’s more credible and along with the rate of other lawyers.”
Scott Grobmann, another criminal defense attorney, quipped, “Prosecutors must be held to the highest standard because unlike us poor defense lawyers they get to take away people’s liberty.”
Others who have known Wade are also alarmed that these allegations made it more difficult to clinch prosecution.
“It’s disappointing,” remarked a lawyer who knew Wade personally.
“Now you’ve made it harder to have a chance at securing any sort of conviction.”
Attorney Norm Eisen also slammed the affair and suggested Mr. Wade “voluntarily end his time on this case” as their controversy has become a distraction.
With this, Judge Scot McAfee, who is in charge of hearing Trump’s Georgia indictment, ordered a hearing on February 15 to discuss the evidence of misconduct presented against Willis and her partner.
Willis contracted her lover in November 2021, and many of her colleagues in Fulton County, thought, “Why him?”
These allegations were formalized in a court filing from Michael Roman, Trump’s former campaign aide, who revealed that the lovers used taxpayers’ money to take on lavish vacations. The motion comes just in time as Wade’s ex-wife Joycelyn Wade sent a subpoena to Willis’ office requiring her to testify in Wade’s divorce proceedings.
The filing exposed not only Willis’ illicit affair but also her breach of the loyalty pledge to egregious instances of self-dealing. Willis and Wade’s misconduct, according to an article by The Gateway Pundit, is so “severe and persistent” that it could implicate the whole district attorney’s office.
Governor Brian Kemp is encouraged to send in Attorney General Chris Carr to clean up the mess and avoid any damage to public confidence in the integrity of America’s justice system as a result of the affair.
Willis also violated Fulton County’s code of ethics, which states, “no officer … shall, by his or her conduct give reasonable basis for the impression that any person can improperly influence him or her, or unduly enjoy his or her favor, in the performance of any official acts or actions.”

Yes.
I think she was bought by someone more corrupt than herself to interfere in the up coming election. We American’ s are losing faith in our justice system for the very egregious actions taking place here. There must be integrity in our court system or America is lost forever. ” Liberty and justice for ALL.
I lost faith in our justice system years ago. Even before Trump got elected last time. Now we know that is probably going to happen again. Obama/Biden regime will see to that
